Tuna Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Well I do hope Newcastle play as badly as this when we play the, terrible football club, run awfully. Should be thrown out of the league the way they go about themselves. Brilliant supporters which is why its such a shame.
chapero82 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Come on be honest we've hardly been exciting to watch all season. We've been absouletly gash in an awful lot of our games. I disagree with that, a lot of games we should have won but lost
Dan Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Blimey. Come on be honest we've hardly been exciting to watch all season. We've been absouletly gash in an awful lot of our games. Newcastle are awful every time I watch them. Every time without fail.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 What a crap 'super Sunday' that was I want to restart my Sunday, what a boring afternoon.
Soar Fox Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I disagree with that, a lot of games we should have won but lost Hull, Aston villa, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom, sunderland, Swansea. And they were just of the top of my head that we were absouletly terrible in.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Annoyed that the teams we needed to win today couldn't be fvcking bothered to get a result.
Donut Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Its not the "crap teams above us's" fault were miles adrift at the bottom. Great goal from Defoe, and in a scruffy game, Sunderland deserved to win. Newcastle offered little.
ADK Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 It's hardly a surprise that teams with nothing to play for aren't going to be up for it. We are where we deserve to be.
Tuna Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Like I said if they turn up at the king power like THAT, its 3 easy points for us.
Donut Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Would we have beaten an "up for it" West Ham? Bearing in mind when they were up for it, they beat us 2-0? Dont let one win convince you we are anything other than the absolute pits.
chapero82 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Hull, Aston villa, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom, sunderland, Swansea. And they were just of the top of my head that we were absouletly terrible in. Arsenal away, Spurs home and away, palace, everton, burnley, liverpool away, villa away just from the top of my head that was should have won or got points from
foxfanazer Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Hull, Aston villa, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom, sunderland, Swansea. And they were just of the top of my head that we were absouletly terrible in. Arsenal x 2, villa x 2, liverpool away, spurs x 2Been entertaining in more games than not imo
Matt Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Damn it, how dare teams above win! I'm sorry I don't buy into the 'there is worse teams above us' statement, i'll agree there are poor teams in this league by all means but we've been very poor for a majority of our games all season, especially the 'important ones' the ones against teams around us. We are where we are because we're as bad/worse than them, we're where we are because of what we've done - not had cutting edge, not what other teams have done. The fact we've not been able to beat these 'worse teams that are above us' says everything you need to know about us.
Dan Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I'm more annoyed at our failure to turn up. We'd have beaten most of the bottom half yesterday. Why have we waited until now?
jammie82uk Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Latest Premier League Relegation odds; QPR 2/9 Leicester 2/7 Burnley 4/6 Hull 6/4 Sunderland 2/1 Aston Villa 10/3
Donut Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I'm more annoyed at our failure to turn up. We'd have beaten most of the bottom half yesterday. Why have we waited until now? Youll always get a few results when "the s**t hits the fan" and youve got a team fighting like mad vs a team with the beach towels out. Its so sad its far, far too little, and far, far too late.
Matt Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I'm more annoyed at our failure to turn up. We'd have beaten most of the bottom half yesterday. Why have we waited until now? Well, Mr Pearson i'm afraid, I was/am (Confused about about the situation over whether i'm do or don't at the moment ) a Pearson fan but why it's took him till the last two games to change his mindset from setting-up not to lose as opposed to attack I don't know! We should have gone all out attacking weeks/quite possible a month or two ago, but it seems to have only just dawned on him in the last two games.

Dont let one win convince you we are anything other than the absolute pits. West Ham didn't roll over and die though. Bit of a difference I feel.
MooseBreath Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 It's hardly a surprise that teams with nothing to play for aren't going to be up for it. We are where we deserve to be. This. We benefitted from it yesterday as well. Nobodies fault but our own that we've been crap all season and have left it far too late to even look like we might recover.
Corky Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 It's hardly a surprise that teams with nothing to play for aren't going to be up for it. We are where we deserve to be. I half expected it but hoped they'd be up for a derby match. Hopefully they'll be the same in a month's time.
Donut Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 West Ham didn't roll over and die though. Bit of a difference I feel. Maybe we should get 5 points for beating them instead of 3? Weve put ourself in a position where we need mediocre teams to help us out against teams who are desperate to win. And frankly, yes, if West Ham had something to play for i think youd have seen a different game.

You make out as if we were offered the win yesterday just like Sunderland were today. That was not the case.
