The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Van Gaals post match interview - sounds like he wants to punch the interviewer.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Watching MOTD knowing the results makes it a wee bit boring... What has happened to Drogba anyway - looks a shadow of his former self. Was world-class 09-12. He's 37.
Jimothy Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Watching MOTD knowing the results makes it a wee bit boring... What has happened to Drogba anyway - looks a shadow of his former self. Was world-class 09-12. Probably something to do with being 37.
potter3 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Van Gaal's interview Watching MOTD knowing the results makes it a wee bit boring... What has happened to Drogba anyway - looks a shadow of his former self. Was world-class 09-12. He's 37 now, bear in mind people thought Cambiasso might be past it at 34 before they saw him play.
Corky Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Pearson's touch today was sublime and he's 51 so age doesn't really matter.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Didn't think he was that old - even still, he seems to have lost his eye and touch; age you lose your stamina and your pace...
Jimothy Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Didn't think he was that old - even still, he seems to have lost his eye and touch; age you lose your stamina and your pace... And reactions. The likes of Giggs, Sheringham and Ferdinand are rare, being able to play at the top level at around 40.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 MOTD basically didn't show about half our chances today.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 That was it? Christ, made the game look dull and even, rather than the near total football we showed first half. It's what happens when Gary isn't on. Kings gurn appearing on the banners though
Guest ttfn Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Looked outside the box tbh. On the line is in the box. It was bloody close.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 What a stupid first yellow. Makes contact and he could easily walk. On the line is in the box. It was bloody close. Looked like the foot taken was a foot away from the line though. Really tight one, but I think it was just outside.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Everton look impressive - what the hell happened to them earlier in the season to be so boringly midtable?
marko Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 What a stupid first yellow. Makes contact and he could easily walk. Looked like the foot taken was a foot away from the line though. Really tight one, but I think it was just outside. Offence carried on into the box, so correct decision in the end.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 ****ing hell, how didn't Mirallas get sent off for that?
Guest Bilo Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 ****ing hell, how didn't Mirallas get sent off for that? The sort of tackle that would get you punched in Sunday League, never mind Premier League football.
Carl the Llama Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I just entirely agreed with a Sean Dyche interview. I feel dirty.
cjslcfc Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I just entirely agreed with a Sean Dyche interview. I feel dirty. "pound notes" aside, Dyche does actually give a decent interview. I feel sick just for saying that...
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Dyche seems less up himself than normal - perhaps he's just a bad winner.
bluesbrothers Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Dyche seems less up himself than normal - perhaps he's just a bad winner. I think he realises that his moment in the media spotlight may be almost over if Burnley don't win against us next week. If ever we needed an extra incentive to win next week, it's to sink Dyche's media love-in once and for all. They won't repeat last season's feat again and will probably regress back to being mid-Championship fayre.
Aus Fox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 If Chelsea beat Arsenal next weekend, they come to is knowing a win would secure the tittle. If I were them I would throw the game and win it in front of my own supporters.
ronnup Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Anyone reccoemnd a place to watch highlights for those not in the UK?
MC Prussian Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Anyone reccoemnd a place to watch highlights for those not in the UK? I think you'll find a recording of yesterday's MOTD somewhere on YouTube...
