TheMightySystem Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Remember though they were awful before they played us and then they beat us, hope for a different result this time
GaelicFox Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Newcastle are one of the three cant see them winning again we beat them and we half way there
CosbehFox Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 I am worried about the Newcastle game in truth, they looked as hopeless as they did last time round. I doubt we will set up so defensive like we did that day though.
Fox in the North Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 We just have to keep playing with this intensity, at least we score plenty when we do. I don't see why we can't stay up at this rate.
Matt Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Are Newcastle fans boycotting games indefinitely until something happens with the Ashley situation or was it just a one off today? Just wondering if they'll be bringing many with them when they visit.

Matt Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 I think they just planned it for the one game and it sounds like most went to the game anyway Yeah didn't look like that many stayed away. I didn't see the game, how many Newcastle fans were there? There were notable empty seats but a fair few were there. Just looked at the attendance - 47,427 Their average attendance this season has been 50,834 apparently.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 But does the attendance count all season tickets as attended? Loads could of stayed at home and still of been counted.
Guest Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 I think I'd be worried if I were a Newc fan. I think we need 9pts to feel safe (and that's against the 3 lower teams than Newc). That'd be 37, so 35 could easily be relegated.
TheMightySystem Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 I didn't see the game, how many Newcastle fans were there? I didn't see it either but on twitter people are calling it a fail.
purpleronnie Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 English fans just don't have the mentality for boycotts.
Bayfox Posted 24 April 2015 Posted 24 April 2015 I actually look at it from the opposite point of view. You're guaranteed an interview, just because you aren't white? Why should you be interviewed on the colour of your skin? It's more racist towards white people. Football clubs are now multi million pound businesses, regardless of your race, you get the job on merit. John Barnes hasn't had another job because he's s**t. Chris Powell finds work because he's done relatively good jobs where he's been. Hasselbaink has started at the bottom, in a bid to build a reputation, if he carries on as he has done, he'll be a sought after manager. Paul Ince saved Macclesfield from relegation, then thought he was ready for the big time. He wasn't. Look at how some white managers careers have progressed: Our very own Peter Taylor, John Gregory, Phil Brown, Paul Sturrock, Paul Jewell, Ian Dowie......I could go on. Just because you've been in the Premier League, it doesn't mean you always will be, careers have ups and downs Whatever your ethnicity, you'll get the job you deserve. No doubt Chris Ramsey won't be at QPR next season, he'll probably go back to being an assistant and this whole saga will be bought up again because that's one less black manager. If he wants to be number 1, drop down a couple of leagues. Terry Connor was a similar situation a few years ago at Wolves. It's a horrible cliche, but it really is political correctness gone mad. This post sums it up. Barnes was shit. How the **** you **** celtic up. And ince got above his station. Nothing to do with skin colour. Just accept you're crap.

Tielemans63 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Just watching Southampton v Spurs - what a player James Ward-Prowse is. I knew he was good but watching him live(ish), he's absolute quality.
orangecity23 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 From BBC Gossip: Manchester United winger Ashley Young, 29, is known for being the resident DJ in the Red Devils' dressing room, but he says he has to adhere to strict orders from manager Louis van Gaal to play only house and funky house music.
