RizLCFC Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Jack Barmby (19), son of Nick Barmby, highly rated attacking midfielder, released by MUFC, has signed for Leicester City. He had a successful loan spell at Hartlepool last season. There was a lot of surprise when Ed Woodward released him from United earlier this month. He will be part of the development squad but he's highly talented, definitely one for the future.

Narborough_fox Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 One for the future ?. If he was that good at 19 he'd be playing. To be fair, at 19 Vardy was at the youth team for Stocksbridge Park Steels. Just because he's not playing by the age of 19 doesn't mean he can't be a success. He had a pretty decent loan spell at Hartlepool last year as well. Could well be a useful addition for the Development team with them in the top tier of the U21 league next year. Also has a point to prove after being released by United.
