notnow john Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I'm all in favour of a striker being incisive in front of goal, and he did get a brace against England, but he's bitten off more than he can chew here. His manager's going to give him a right molaring. Chew him up and spit him out, so he will. The bloke needs to have a jaw with a psychologist and get some wisdom about teeth. Would a ban be too draculian, though? Would it be in vein? Perhaps he has some secret Romanian ancestry that he needs to come to terms with and could spend a year in exile, playing for Rabid Bucharest? His conduct might explain England's strangely bloodless performances during this World Cup, mind you. Honestly, how can we take this seriously? This isn't going to help Liverpool's title challenge, though, is it? Does FIFA have the power to ban a player from domestic matches due to conduct in internationals? I presume it does.... I didn't agree with his inclusion but he seems to have made an impression !
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 For all we know, he might be an actual vampire. Fangs for that comment.
marko Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I can't condone this, even though that picture in the first post does seem to be a fake, he still clearly tried to bite Chiellini. Come off it. Look at the photograph by the Reuters news agency photographer; It's clearly not a fake.
BoyJones Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 It will be interesting to see FIFA response to Suarez's disgraceful behaviour, but considering most decisions have gone the SA continents way, Croatia stitched up, Fred's goal so offside, Neymar not sent off etc, I will surprised if they take immediate action. Whilst Blatter is in charge, FiFA will always be a corrupt organisation. In my opinion he is a disgrace and brings the game into disrepute every time he opens his mouth. I have seen every world cup (on the box) since 1966, this one has lacked excitement and charisma, couple or so decent games to be fair, but basically boring and a poor advert for the game. Football needs new people at the top with integrity who can rebuild the games standing, even the sponsors are getting worried. Anyway, thank God the season is not too far away and we can watch a real team, hopefully having a good start against Everton.
Grandad. Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Come off it. Look at the photograph by the Reuters news agency photographer; It's clearly not a fake. Either way, its disgusting what he has done.
AKCJ Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Ashamed, I really did think after the Ivanovic incident that was it and last season we seen the real Suarez who finally just let his football do his talking but then he goes and does this. I can't condone this, even though that picture in the first post does seem to be a fake, he still clearly tried to bite Chiellini. FIFA need to ban him from International football for a very long time. Don't get me wrong if he stays at Liverpool I will still love the man and support him but I won't put up any major protests if the club do choose to sell him abroad now, for major money of course. He needs to be banned from all football. Quite staggering that Suarez will probably only get another 10 game ban for ABH. Quite how someone can have been banned for 17 games for biting before and still go out and do it is beyond me.
BoneDog Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I liked how Ramirez tried to pull the shirt back up onto the shoulder as if to say 'alright stop bein a snitch mate'.
AKCJ Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Either way, its disgusting what he has done. Did a Liverpool fan make that? You can even pause the TV and see it. Give over. Unbelievable how people can defend him. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28008605
marko Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Either way, its disgusting what he has done. The only problem with what you've posted is that the photoshopped version is actually the one on the left and the real picture is on the right.
Jimothy Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Either way, its disgusting what he has done. You accusing the bbc of photo shopping? http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/28008605
Captain... Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Suarez will probably and rightly get an international ban, but the punishment can't have any effect on the domestic game, it may be the end of his world cup, but he will be free to play for Liverpool or any other club.

Quite how someone can have been banned for 17 games for biting before and still go out and do it is beyond me. Also staggering that a player can only get a 5 game ban for admitting to ending a footballers career, i.e Roy Keane. Did a Liverpool fan make that? You can even pause the TV and see it. Give over. Unbelievable how people can defend him. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28008605 How am I defending him? Seriously stop replying to me making accusations up. I clearly said he tried biting him.
Grandad. Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I'm not accusing the BBC of anything, I'm just posting a picture up that I have seen doing the rounds on Twitter. Seriously, someone please show me where I have defended Luis Suarez this evening. Look at the first word of my first post in this thread.. Ashamed.

You've not defended him as such, but you've obviously not looked too far into that pictures origins, and are throwing around statements of photoshopping as fact to seemingly try and soften the severity of his actions. A quick look at any news agency website would have proven the bite mark picture was genuine.

Look, I'm not defending him, I seen that on Twitter and then I seen that on here, I have tried not reading a lot of stuff tonight because I don't want too. Check my Twitter for all I care, @TomLoft91 - I put on shortly after the incident that Suarez was a 'disgrace' on here I have said I am 'ashamed', it's Liverpool who get the brunt of this. I never once said anything about photoshopping either, the picture says that, nothing I have said.
MooseBreath Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Be interesting to see Liverpool's response. A dignified response from a club with such an illustrious history would be to pay off his contract and make it clear they don't want to be associated with any player who behaves in such a disgusting way on the pitch. But they need him, desperately, so they'll no doubt do nothing. Likewise Uruguay definitely don't have the dignity to send him home. So we're relying on FIFA to maintain the dignity of the sport lol I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him playing in Uruguay's next game as if nothing had happened.
BoyJones Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Suarez knows what he had done, let's see if he has the guts to own up and accept his fate. If he doesn't he is effectively calling Chielini a liar and a fake. He will surely lose all respect in the football world. Liverpool must be gutted to have such a talented but sad B in their employment. It has put them in a difficult position, but a reputable business would get rid ASAP and cut heir losses, by cashing in with a sale abroad.

We should sell him now if a major offer comes in for him, but that is it? This has nothing to do with Liverpool FC, nothing at all. The FA in Uruguay can do their own investigation and give out their own punishment to him. Why would we pay out his contract so he can leave for free when we value him at over £70 million.
Dr The Singh Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 This is the only reason why I won't let Suarez to suck my cock. Brendan Rogers must be shitting himself, so will Barca and Madrid, would they buy a player banned for 20 matches

Sell him by all means if anyone wants him, but for me if Liverpool want to be seen as a respectable club then he can't ever play for them again.

Hmm. as much as I agree to an extent, we made our stance on Luis Suarez with the Patrice Evra incident and the bite to Branislav Ivanovic.
Dr The Singh Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Maybe he likes you.Do a Suarez and bite his nob off
