Luis Suarez Bites Chiellini

Ashamed, I really did think after the Ivanovic incident that was it and last season we seen the real Suarez who finally just let his football do his talking but then he goes and does this.

I can't condone this, even though that picture in the first post does seem to be a fake, he still clearly tried to bite Chiellini. FIFA need to ban him from International football for a very long time.

Don't get me wrong if he stays at Liverpool I will still love the man and support him but I won't put up any major protests if the club do choose to sell him abroad now, for major money of course.

if it is proven, and the video evidence looks pretty undeniable, then Liverpool should sack him not sell him. Would they have the moral courage to do so? Of course not.

Frankly any Liverpool fan who continues to support this disgrace of a footballer should feel rather embarrased to do so. He's brought that great club into disrepute more than once and despite his excellent footballing skills his behaviouir has no place in modern professional sport.

FIFA of course will bottle it but a worldwide football ban of two years should be applied and a compulsory psychiatric assessment and treatment for his "condition" a pre-requisite for any return to the ranks of professional football.

Biting someone is just ridiculous, you're not even gaining an advantage.

Isn't there a risk of infection being bitten by a human? So it's actually dangerous and being as it's the third time a lengthy ban is in order. He should never play international football again in my eyes.

I lke the muzzle and the dog suit idea.

He'll end up playing with a gum shield for psychological / medical reasons.

Is that too ridiculous? I don't think Liverpool should be punished (as much as we all would like them to, eh Grandad?) but this is the second time he's done something of this magnitude for Uruguay at a World Cup - he'll try anything to gain an advantage and the scumbag doesn't deserve to play in another tournament and what're the point in just banning him for friendlies?

He has to get a long ban at least. Imagine he bites wasyl for example, and was turns round and lamps him, I can honestly see was being punished worse. Thats not right. But what about those guys who slide in trying to do damage? Thats just as bad but harder to prove.

Wasyl would knock chewy luis' teeth out. Doing him a massive favour in the process.

i know people get appalled by incidents in football, but it was hardly a  career ending assault, i think vinny jones giving gazza that nut wrench would have been more painful, but people just laugh at that picture.

Yes human bites are very infectious due the prevalence of bacteria in the mouth and between the teeth. Various diseases can also be transmitted through a bite, hepatitis and HIV among them. That's why it's such a disgraceful, disgusting thing to do, and is on a completely different level to a strong challenge.

Ask Alf-Inge Haland what he would of preferred of Roy Keane, a bite or a strong tackle?

I've woken up still the same, ashamed of what he has done, but the reality is he hasn't killed anyone, he has done it before so why are people so surprised, England are out the World Cup but we would rather discuss this and Liverpool won't sack him for it.

Come on mate.

Everyone knew England were out of the World Cup before yesterday and this is a talking point around the world and its media.

Obviously we'd rather discuss this. England being out of the World Cup is nothing new and the amazement of it all is that Suarez hasn't learned his lesson and still chooses to be controversial and be a repeat offender of something seriously shocking.

Yeah we should probably discuss this, but should the media? Should the English media really be talking about Luis Suarez for the next week or should they be talking about what went wrong in Brazil, why did it go wrong in Brazil and how do we make things right for France in 2016?

The Spanish papers won't be full of Suarez and the incident yesterday.

Of course there is an infection risk..if the skin is broken.

I completely agree. The man clearly has mental health issues and FIFA should throw the fookin book at him.

Yes. There's a time and place for everything.

You can't blame the English yellow press for jumping the bandwagon, though. They're just too good at it.

I find it funny how you're trying to shift the blame away from Suarez and onto the media.

Oh, wait... You don't support Liverpool by any chance?
