StanSP Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 What should his punishment be? THIRD time he's done this. Clearly doesn't learn his lesson. Outrageous thing to do and quite disgusting.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I doubt he will be involved in anymore World Cup games in this tournament that is certain.

Matt Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Possible options. Ban for life. Remove Teeth. Throw Uruguay out of the World Cup, Harsh on everyone involved (apart from Suarez) but he'd certainly get a backlash for it and probably would be disowned by the country.
Fox92 Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I question his decision at times. Today, for instance, why has he done this? To play at the World Cup is the greatest level for a footballer, something we all want to do, and he's probably thrown his away this year with a stupid bite! He's such a great player, Suarez, one of the greatest I've ever seen but I cannot defend him here.
J.Lisemore Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I read an article this morning, apparently he thinks he deserves more respect from our Media. Brilliant footballer but he's insane.

Zapp Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Seriously here a one year ban from all competitive football? THREE times hes bitten an opponent on the pitch. THREE
orangecity23 Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Just pop a muzzle on him when he plays, problem solved. I blame the owners, you need to take footballers to footballer social classes when they're younger, so they learn how to follow basic instructions and not to bite other footballers.
BoneDog Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 He's got the noshers for it that's for sure. Who was the third person he bit, I can only think of two? Surprised he hasn't been attacked for it, if someone bit me on the pitch I'd get that red mist thing where you flip.
Unabomber Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 He's got the noshers for it that's for sure. Who was the third person he bit, I can only think of two? Some poor **** when he was at Ajax.
Ric Flair Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 The obvious and most fair sanction should be a life ban for Suarez, Uruguay to be disqualified and England re-instated for the last 16. Tell Roy to turn the plane around.
Jimothy Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 All his goal at this World Cup should be stricken from the record, and all results and tables amended accordingly.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 One for Brendon Rodgers to ponder over: http://www.cesarsway.com/askthevet/dogwellness/Dog-Bites-101-Why-Bites-Happen
The Doctor Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Can face up to two year ban according to this: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/484571/Liverpool-star-Suarez-faces-a-maximum-TWO-YEAR-ban-after-biting-Chiellini Watching his 3 bites as well... I forgot how ridiculous the chelsea one was. He's acting like Ivanovics arm is a chicken wing.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Lifetime ban for the fooker. I'm serious. He's crackers!
Alf Bentley Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 I'm all in favour of a striker being incisive in front of goal, and he did get a brace against England, but he's bitten off more than he can chew here. His manager's going to give him a right molaring. Chew him up and spit him out, so he will. The bloke needs to have a jaw with a psychologist and get some wisdom about teeth. Would a ban be too draculian, though? Would it be in vein? Perhaps he has some secret Romanian ancestry that he needs to come to terms with and could spend a year in exile, playing for Rabid Bucharest? His conduct might explain England's strangely bloodless performances during this World Cup, mind you. Honestly, how can we take this seriously? This isn't going to help Liverpool's title challenge, though, is it? Does FIFA have the power to ban a player from domestic matches due to conduct in internationals? I presume it does....
Tielemans63 Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 This has been an absolute belter of a World Cup. I hope this doesn't become the major talking point after all the great games we've seen.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Commentators at the time had a go at Chiellini for moaning to the ref about it.
