Bert Posted 2 December 2014 Author Posted 2 December 2014 5-1 win for my boys this weekend. 1-0 down after 15 seconds but after that we simply destroyed them. That's now our 6th win on the bounce in all competitions. Hoping to make it 7 Sunday against FC Jag in the county cup. Defeat for Tevez's lot sees them get pulled back towards the chasing pack. Although I still think they'll cruise the division.
David Guiza Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Lost a top of the table clash against Groby this week, didn't deserve it. Had two very very dubious penalties given against and a stonewall one turned down. A good game unfortunately ruined by a shit ref. Unsure how they have won every game so far though, they were fairly shit. Haven't really got the time to play this year, but I know 99% of the Groby Town chaps from last season/school etc. When I played last season there were some God awful refs though so i'm not surprised haha, obviously they're giving up their Sunday mornings for not a huge amount of money, but still. Remember one game where an opposition player was fouled a good 3/4 yards inside the box, and the ref gave a free kick two yards outside. Also one where the ref refused to tell anyone how long was left of the game. We did also play a team where 75% of them appealed for offside after we scored via an assist from a goal kick - so the ref's do have their fair share of idiots to deal with.
Bert Posted 14 December 2014 Author Posted 14 December 2014 Beat Union Inn 9-0 today. Won't be surprised if that result gets taken away from us though, as I'm sure they'll fold. But that's 8 wins on the spin for us now.

Narborough_fox Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Won 8-0 today, could have been 15/16. Top of our league and into the quarter-finals of the League Cup. Last year in youth football so would be nice to end it with some form of silverware.
Maybes Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 LDA recorded back to back wins this morning. We are staying up!!

Bert Posted 19 December 2014 Author Posted 19 December 2014 CSKA Carnabys in the 3rd round of the EW Foster for us.
Tevez Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 Leicester KS away back to back first two weeks in January. At Victoria Park.
RonnieTodger Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 CSKA Carnabys in the 3rd round of the EW Foster for us. Leicester Foxes away for us, so I think that's the end of our run . We're going to lose 3pts and 9 goals after Union Inn have kicked the bucket. Be interesting to see how the table looks when they update it.
SystonFox Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 CSKA Carnabys in the 3rd round of the EW Foster for us. Is it at ours or yours?

SystonFox Posted 25 December 2014 Posted 25 December 2014 You play at Rawlins? We won 12-2 against FC Tumar today, 9th win on the spin sees us go up to 2nd in division three. Yes on the 3G pitch. I run the seconds and we don't have a game so I should be down to spectate
Father Ted Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 They will kick the shit out of you Any good at football?
SystonFox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Any good at football? Are Aylestone Lounge the Monsell ressies from last season? If so, yes they're ok at football. Div 4/5 standard
Father Ted Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Are Aylestone Lounge the Monsell ressies from last season? If so, yes they're ok at football. Div 4/5 standard Not a clue tbh. We've got them in the next round of the County Cup. Looks like they've only lost once all season.
LutterworthLCFC Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Not a clue tbh. We've got them in the next round of the County Cup. Looks like they've only lost once all season. I played them last Sunday, lost(we're shit!) but they a quality striker, big solid lad in defence aswell. They should get promoted from div 4
Bert Posted 4 January 2015 Author Posted 4 January 2015 Best CSKA 5-1. Devastating first half from us. CSKA literally had no answer for our pace on the break. They battled hard in the second half and seemed much more up for it but the game was over at half time as we went in 5-0.

We beat the plough 4-2. 4-0 up after 15 mins. Well played today and from what I hear our lads just weren't prepared. They turned up expecting the ref to call it off and never did. All the best in the cup in further rounds

We'd have been baffled had it have been called off, after all it is supposedly an all weather pitch. No serious injuries, no stupid tackles from two good sets of lads, and after about 30 minutes a lot of the frost laying on top of the pitch had gone.
