Narborough_fox Posted 4 November 2014 Posted 4 November 2014 Through to the quarter-final of the County Cup. Only problem being that it's the same day as Villa away...
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 November 2014 Posted 5 November 2014 Have you played them yet? We're joint top with them. Yeah they beat us 4-1. We were terrible to be honest. They've got an alright midfield and completely over ran us, If we've had had the team we had a couple of years ago I'd of fancy'd us us to beat them so if you lot are any good they shouldn't be a problem.

Beat them 2-1 today. Was comfortable throughout for us though and their goal was a penalty in the 89th minute. Few tasty tackles flying around today.
Bert Posted 10 November 2014 Author Posted 10 November 2014 Nice 4-2 win for us against Bees Knees this morning. Massive pitch which helped us but we're starting to build up a nice bit of momentum.

Few tasty tackles flying around today. For a team doing as well as they are (on the verge of Promotion to the prem) their defense was very weak. We should of punished them a lot more than we did. Not surprised to hear you beat them. Anyway, we beat Coopers Arms 5-3 to reach the quarter final of our 2,3,4 cup. That will more than lilkely be that for us now as I think we've appeared in one quarter final a season on average in our seven year history and haven't won a single one! But still happy to have got through three rounds considering the season we're having (albeit one was a by) Another quarter final on Sunday . They have divisional cups in Burton and we got another by, so whilst it's a Quarter final it's also the first game for us at the same time .
Tevez Posted 11 November 2014 Posted 11 November 2014 Beat Sileby Saints on Saturday 3-1 after going in at half time a goal down - massive result. Knocked Athletic Blaby out of the Billy Walton 4-3 after going 3-2 down on 85 minutes.
Maybes Posted 11 November 2014 Posted 11 November 2014 Our winless streak continues. Performances are getting betting as players come back from injuries though. Hoping we can get everyone back pre xmas and have a good second half the season.
RonnieTodger Posted 12 November 2014 Posted 12 November 2014 Nice 4-2 win for us against Bees Knees this morning. Massive pitch which helped us but we're starting to build up a nice bit of momentum. Wasn't there on Sunday, but we've definitely improved since we got stuffed at your gaff.

Bert Posted 16 November 2014 Author Posted 16 November 2014 A nice divisional cup win for us today. Didn't have a ref turn up which was a pain. Dominated large parts, again wasteful with our chances but we worked hard for each other and a 4-3 win sees us into the next round of the EW Foster.

Manwell Pablo Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 We're through to a semi This lad scored a chip Francesco Totti would of been proud of

Maybes Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Another frustrating day for our lot losing 3-1 to a side a couple of divisions below. In all honesty we were unlucky. Woodwork hit a couple of times, a couple of goalmouth scrambles, just couldn't find the net. Relegation scrap next week at home to Desford on our god awful pitch.
RonnieTodger Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 You looked ok mate. See you have a few new players. That ginger lad you have up top is decent. Very skillful. Yeah, signed about 6 from Niffy Rangers You're right, he's definitely our best player. Scraped a 6-5 against Bulls Head Whetstone in the EW Foster yesterday after being 6-1 up!
Tevez Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 We beat Club yesterday, think one of them had the hump and said he's going to sign for Bee's Knees

Not sure if our firsts have played you this season you are in our div right? Always remember a flat surface at uplands.

Always remember a flat surface at uplands. Yeah we play on the pitch nearest the car park mate, the one which slopes a bit. The grass is far too long currently and to mark the pitch they seem to have dug out trenches!! It was so bad the otherweek that one of our lads squared the ball for a tap in across the box, it hit the six yard line and flew up in the air. All this for £45 per match. We played your firsts yes. Think it finished 5-2 from memory. We are sitting second bottom at the mo. Only won one all season which was the first game. Injuries have royally fvcked us this year.

We play on the pitch furthest from the car park over in the corner. Our pitch isn't too bad at all in all honesty, however I think the pitch closest to the clubhouse in the best of the lot.

Father Ted Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 Who do you play for? Another 2-1 defeat for our lot today. Oadby Athletic, playing centre back for the ressies this year. Didn't have a game today.
RonnieTodger Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 Good 3-1 win at Tumar yesterday. At home to LKS two weeks running now. (League & County Cup)
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 We got beat 5-2 just getting funny now. Scored though and that's 3 from left back this season, unprecedented.
Tevez Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 Got a proper good hiding yesterday, less said about it the better. Countesthorpe are a good side. Opened up for about 5 teams to go in the title race, will be interesting. County Cup weekend, Markfield Ressies away on a Sunday, never won there! time to stop the rot.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 Lost a top of the table clash against Groby this week, didn't deserve it. Had two very very dubious penalties given against and a stonewall one turned down. A good game unfortunately ruined by a shit ref. Unsure how they have won every game so far though, they were fairly shit.
