Captain... Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 I'd rather cheer on Germany ahead of Argentina. Makes me laugh how people have this attitude towards Germany. It's over. We're the only ones that seem to bring everything up. They've been far better than us since '66. Really because I work with a load of Dutch and am doing a project in Belgium and they bring up the wars more than we do. The German's bring it up too, when I was in Poland (another country that still brings it up) for the Euros we met a German fella and when my mate said he was from Coventry he said "Coventry, I know Coventry we bombed it in the war, yeah we destroyed it" as a joke, or maybe banter, I was shocked, my mate wanted to lamp him. Unless you are talking about the football rivalry in which case we are probably are the only ones that bring up '66, '90, '96, the 5-1 and the phantom goal.

"Really"? Well I don't know, do I. There aren't many Dutch or Polish (or French) that I talk to where I live. So I was talking about what I think about English people. Was I wrong? Maybe. The Germany rivalry with the Netherlands is massive, I know that, considering they border each other as well.

The first day he had the white kit on, yesterday he had on the full black and red kit. That's got to be extreme FKWankery.
