My girlfriend was like "I'm watching the game" and I told her it was in 40 minutes, then she was like "what are you talking about". Embarrassing. I missed the exciting build up. Ha! I''ve just done the exact same! Took my time pottering about in my garden, had a shower, settled in front on the Telly and they're talking about the 1st half! I am an utter walloper.

Germany have been the best team overall hence get your money on the Argies They both made it to the final, albeit with a different style of play. Germany have been much more entertaining so far and scoring goals for fun, whereas Argentina keep it tight in their back and threaten punctually, led by Messi's genius and ball distribution.

Basically a classic example of a player bottling a challenge and getting more hurt as a result. Now look he's fine.

That wasn't far off being Schumacher-esque. That should be a red card - goalkeepers can act with complete impunity when coming for high balls and it's totally nonsensical.

He couldn't really have, he was never getting there first. He could have gotten out the way, though, instead he opted to fanny around and be a distraction. Got hit. Goalkeepers are over protected but in that instance Neuer had every right to go for that ball with his fists and won it fairly. For the record, I'd have given a throw in not a German free kick.

Yep, it certainly wasn't "dangerous play" because if that was then every 50/50 would be considered dangerous.

I expect brain dead trolling from Hundreds but not you. Think there's been a serious minimum of diving and cheating in this game. Been played in fairly good spirit, two teams going for it clearly out to win and do it fairly?
