Hugo Sanchez Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Got more chance of winning the league then Liverpool, your be lucky to finish 4th.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 such obvious baiting, but I'm not going to complain
Fox92 Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Got more chance of winning the league then Liverpool, your be lucky to finish 4th. Liverpool had a great season last season, though I think they might struggle to replicate it this season, but apart from losing Suarez I can't see what you're really basing that on.

Grandad. Posted 14 July 2014 Author Posted 14 July 2014 I very much doubt we will finish 2nd but there is no reason why we can't finish in the top four. Suarez, or no Suarez. Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge and hopefully another big name to come in. Can't comment on this Markovic, never actually seen him kick a ball. Throw in Gerrard and Lallana as well, we have the goals still in our side, just need one of them to step up to the Luis Suarez plate. I'm predicting a huge year for Raheem Sterling.

He's a massive massive loss. They also have some young players who after a great breakout season could experience the second season syndrome a lot of our young players seem to get. I think they'll scrape fourth personally. But huge pressure will be on the shoulders of Sturridge and his finishing will have to be top notch this year.

You haven't got anyone capable of doing that though. Suarez is on a different level to most players in the Premier League and he's one of the best strikers in the world at the minute. There's no doubt that Liverpool will be a significantly weaker side without him.

This is the same side that managed to put 9 goals in against the other top four sides last season and Luis Suarez didn't score one of them, we have players capable of scoring goals and performing at a very high level. I would rather people think we're not going to be as good as last season, if we don't succeed everyone can say they told me so and if we do succeed then we will have hopefully impressed people with our style of play and people will hold their hands up regarding our transfer business this summer.
Super_horns Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Will motivate the Arsenal players to rights those wrongs from last season.
Matt Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Love it and no, I don't work for BT Sport. Keep up the good work though

How many did he play a big part in though? For instance I doubt Vardy would have had as good a season as he did without someone like Nugent doing the leg-work creating the room for him.
The Blur Posted 15 July 2014 Posted 15 July 2014 Is it just me or Ox has actually starred in an advert that mocked his side's thrashing last season?
Grandad. Posted 15 July 2014 Author Posted 15 July 2014 Is it just me or Ox has actually starred in an advert that mocked his side's thrashing last season? Haha I thought the exact same. Most on here will just say it's him having a sense of humour, I would be livid if Gerrard did a Sky advert that mocked his slip.

Fair play to having a sense of a humour but I would have say it is too soon. If he has retired then fair enough but if I was the Ox then I would be still bit sore about that and the backlash of Arsenal fans would be a hassle to deal with as well.

Yeah when you've retired, by all means, but the fact you have lost to a rival 6-0 and you're in an advert a few months later about the game and having a joke about the incident that cost them the game so early on is a bit too much.
