Captain... Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 How old is Smith? If his 22nd birthday is after 1/1/2015 then he counts as youth team so wouldn't take a squad place, so we could have him as back-up to Hamer and Kasper without using one of the 25 man squad.

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Having updated BalitmoreBlue's squad list, we have two squad spots left - and I'd agree with the need for a left sided player (left back or midfield) and a striker. Any additions after that would require others to go out of the club. I can see Wood going out on loan after the window shuts, so maybe there's space for a third signing?

Molson Canadian Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Why tho If we have a spot available we might as well fill it and I'm sure Kevin Phillips wouldn't say no, not expecting him to play, just have him available worst case scenario. When January comes you can make changes to the roster again, and remove him from the roster of the spot if it is needed for a new incoming player
Merging Cultures Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Even with Jeff playing great, I'd still bring in a left attacking mid fielder. That way we can play Jeff at LB if needed. I don't think we need a striker at this stage.
