stevebrock Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Just thought I would introduce myself, left Leicester in the mid-90s, just returned to the area - Nottingahm! Due to family commitments a Season Ticket was not viable so I have got a Gold Membership and will try to get to as many homes games as possible. Anybody else in the same boat and have a Gold Membership - I will be coming to matches on my own! Would be good to meet up with similar people!
Jobyfox Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 I've been on/off with Season tickets over the last 20 years, but didn't react quickly enough to get one for next season. I'm not just a glory hunter as I've had season tickets at various times in the past, under different managers, and it hasn't always coincided with periods of success. So yes - I've opted for the Gold Member ( ) route for next season and am happy to join the club.

In all honesty, I worked stupid hours and couldn't get to many games. I now work 9-5.30, so I am able to go to all the games now. No Saturday hours for me! I live in Derbyshire and work in Beeston (Nottingham) and am planning to attend matches on my own. Would be glad to meet up!
Collymore Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Can someone please sell me the benefit of the Gold? After doing the maths, you should be guaranteed a ticket to home games with the £20 city membership as you still get priority over season ticket holders... 23k season tickets + 3.5k for sliver and gold will = 26.5k. That means no matter what, you should be guaranteed a ticket with the city membership under any scenario. Am I missing something?

MrSpaM Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 Think people are going to struggle to get home or away tickets this season with anything less than a gold membership. They only have to shift about 1000 gold memberships (If the home ticket allowance is still the same) before every seat in the house is taken.

First choice of seats, that relates to both position or range of prices available... - Position - depends how bothered you are, there are few "bad view" seats in the stadium - Cost - could mean that the less expensive seats are taken by gold members, so the match prices available are to non-gold are more expensive, so depends on how many games you want to go and whether the total price difference of those seats is greater than £35 (for silver)
docho66 Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 The reason I opted for Gold over the others is, even though I may not be able to afford every game, I wouldn't want to be disappointed. Plus, if you think about it, if we do well, there will be a lot of people fighting for tickets. it was the guarantee of Season Ticket for 15/16 that did it for me Btw... You're not guaranteed a Season Ticket. You're on the waiting list for next season. So you have to hope that more than 1,500 people decide not to renew to be guaranteed a ticket. I only see that happening if we get relegated.

promised land Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 3,000 hospitality ?? Are you sure ?? That's what I read, remember that includes the restaurants, players families, staff, sponsors, grass roots clubs etc.
lcfc278 Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 I think I am going to miss the king power this season - doesn't look like we're going to get a look in!
Ric Flair Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 Isn't gold membership £75? With a lot of tickets then £35-40 you'd only need to have gone half the home games and you'd have paid more than a season ticket!!! Absolute con.

Our ground is too small for us. Should've gone for the Bede Island design. Top! Sort it out.

If you were the 52nd person to buy a Gold Membership does that mean you are 52nd on the waiting list? or When Season tickets are renewed next season does that mean there will be a mad scramble amongst the 1500 gold members to grab the few available season tickets that have come onto the market? I don't know ........... but I suspect that latter.
