They don't quite get our southern sense of humour me thinks

Oh we do - we have a natural sort of "piss take" style, don't take it too seriously :)

Indeed, you'll see quite a few rate Vardy on there too. We love the industrious player - Denis Stracqualursi was a cult hit for his work rate alone - and Vardy has an excellent strike record through the leagues to go with it. Indeed, if you had Vardy up against Alcaraz and Hibbert, I'd be very worried.

Also, we don't consider you southern ;-)

Fair one, perhaps I don't get their humour then lol

RE Vardy- the bloke is quality and a brilliant foil for Nugent. Though I realise you finished way above the bottom 10, during our best spells of football last season I would confidently say we would have competed with anyone in the above category. The gap between the bottom of the PL and the top of the Championship has narrowed too IMO. Oh by the way, I'd be more worried by Mahrez than Knocky. It's scandalous he's not in The Sun dream team.

Think faux-homosexuality meets self-deprecation and you're nearly there on GOT ^^

lol at them thinking my 'cup final' post was serious

We didn't - the guy found it funny, that's what "howling" means.  :)

We frequently post a picture of Phil Neville holding a pre-season cup and celebrate it like it's the Champions League, running joke.

Just hoping for a competitive entertaining game. An early Everton goal would kill any atmosphere off. Let's face it; first five games are going to be real tough and points will be a real reward.

The PL is essentially a two tier division of the top 7 teams (including Everton) and the rest. If I read comments which I just have about 'none of their players would make our bench', then they are in for a massive shock when Mahrez gets away from a player. If Hibbert plays we will bag.

According to Sky Sports and first for lcfc Wolves have agreed a fee for Chris Wood? Not sure if true as on twitter he says he is looking forward to next week? Think it is a mistake if he goes and therefore we will lose the option of using him against Everton. Wanted him to prove himself this season as i think he has potential to be good!

I'm an Evertonian and before I begin I just wanna quickly say that it's hard trying to register on those verification code things. Who thinks of these things? Yes I understand the word communication but what is anborgh? A simple question to say "what colour is the sky" and we answer it simply; grey.

Anyway lets get down to business. I fear this game because its always a daunting task facing a newly promoted team who will probably sell it out and the fans will be cheering every attacking movement. Put it this way, Everton don't play so well when they're under pressure and can be prone to a mistake or two. Once one of our players heads goes, if your fans pick up on this he will have a terrible game. This has happened in the past and who knows? It might not happen this time. The football we play will always allow you to counter attack, it depends how fast you can move up the pitch and how precise you play the ball around. I don't know much about current Leicester as I only seem to really remember the days of Muzzy Izzet, Steve Claridge, Emile Heskey etc so I don't have too much of an opinion on your football. I will say this, I anticipate an interesting game and I'll be in attendance hoping your fans bring some atmosphere to the game. Everton sure as hell bring the party.

Its my first visit mate, look out for the blue pyro haha.

If you can give me any tips on players to watch etc it would make for a better viewing. I usually just see the number and have no clue who it is!

How much pyro are Everton Bringing?  lol  Anyway our Right Back Ritchie De Laet can be very quick at times but often leaves gaps which a few wingers punished last year, i'm not 100% sure who will start left back either konceskey or schlupp which ever starts also likes to push up but like RDL often fail to get back quick enough.

Riyad Mahrez. Slender but tricky Algerian winger. Number 26. Plays on either side.

Danny Drinkwater. Number 4. Central midfield. Will be running off everywhere to go and get the ball off our players and distribute it around the team. Our heartbeat.

I'll have a look at this Mahrez lad. Did he play in the championship or is he a new signing?

Bought him in January on the cheap from Ligue 2 in France. Played for Algeria vs. Belgium in world cup.
