reynard Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 As the squad is at the moment I can't see anything other than a long season of struggling. We already have some injuries and our squad looks weak in depth. For example can we actually name a full 25 man squad of players who are of the right quality? Underwhelming summer recruitment to date will see us ultimately fail to stay up and finish 19th. If we can get another 2 or 3 players in of the right quality things may be different. Hope I'm wrong though.
AS78UK Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 We have a young squad and if the training has been right will perform a level higher then they did last year, no reason why can't be challenging to break into the top half! Come on Leicester!

Realistically though, we will be in a relegation dogfight, but it could be the closest relegation battle ever. Exciting times.

ithuriel Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Seems I put down 17th, this has been a truly weird season though. Started like a normal season but doing really until we played that away game after thrashing Man Utd. Struggling for a long period due to poor defending and a lack of goals, never getting clobbered but always a little short of what was required and constant player and formation changes and with a minor good spell just after Xmas. After the Dull home game draw we look goners, adrift at the bottom and with little time left. Then the team lose 3-4 to Spurs in what looks a one off game but we win the next game against West Ham and look a different team, apart from Chelsea the team have been winning every game since. Should make for an exciting DVD.
