stevelcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Looking at some of these, thank **** FM is the closest you'll ever get to picking a team. There is no reason why the guys who played against arsenal should be dropped, King and Hammond have played out of their skin so far, so just because someone's name is Cambiasso, shouldn't mean they walk into the team. Kasper De Laet, Moore, Morgan, Konch Mahrez, King, Hammond, Schlupp Vardy Ulloa
Clever Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I think Mahrez and King will be left out and replaced with Cambiaso and either Knockaert or Albrighton. Purely because they have been away on Int Duty travelling all week. Up front it's Ulloa and Vardy. I hope Schmeichel is ok and makes the Team as I'm not too impressed with Hamner so far. But he's only new so needs a little time to settle.
cjslcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I get the idea, if it's true, of keeping quiet if Kasper is injured. However, unlike with other injuries, surely a keeper being out alters little tactically? Apart from his quick distribution for the counter attack I can't see much reason for not saying he is injured.

Kasper De Laet, Moore, Morgan, Konch Mahrez, King, Hammond, Schlupp Vardy Ulloa So why have you dropped Nugent?
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Kasporion Delaet morgana Moore Konchesky Mahrez cambiasso drinkwater schlupp Nugget Ulloa Now the fun part Subs: Hamer, Wasyl, Albrighton**, King, Vardy, Wood, Powell Edit shit forgot wingers
stevelcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 So why have you dropped Nugent? It's a 50/50 toss up between them, Nuge has done little wrong bar not being clinical enough at Chelsea, but just given Vardy the edge for his extra pace, to get in behind and around Ulloa.
cjslcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Anyway I'd go for: Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Konchesky Mahrez Drinkwater Hammond Schlupp Vardy Ulloa Bench: Hamer, Nugent, Powell, Wasilewski, King, Cambiasso, Wood So hard to pick the team and difficult to leave King and Nugent out. However, I just feel Vards has to play. I don't like King and Drinkwater playing together, especially away from home, and I wouldn't want to put Cambiasso in straight away against Stoke so Hammond gets the nod. Need to keep Schlupp and Mahrez for pace on the counter. With Vardy, De Laet, Schlupp, Mahrez and even Drinkwater we have some decent pace there. Edit: on second thoughts, we need another defender (Simpson) on the bench. Who the hell do I leave out??
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I think we have too many decent options for the bench. Nigel what have you done
weller54 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Wouldn't start cambiasso in this one.. Leave his full debut for the Man Utd game.. Think he'll be on the bench today.. With Drinkwater and King starting.
Number 6 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Would like: SchmeichelSimpson Morgan Moore KoncheskyCambiasso Drinkwater Mahrez King VardyUlloa But think we'll go 4-4-2 again so expecting: SchmeichelDeLaet Morgan Moore KoncheskyMahrez King Drinkwater Schlupp Nugent Ulloa
Tommythefox06 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Where the **** are the strong rumours? I've seen two people on here say it, and one of them just kept spamming '#ITK ' whenever anybody asked him Hope you like the taste of humble pie, custard or cream with yours???
Tommythefox06 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Drinky starting I hope I will go for Hamer Was Wes Moore Konch Mahrez Drinky Hammond Schlupp Vardy Ulloa Think Was will give us a bit extra steel at set pieces
cjslcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I will go for Hamer Was Wes Moore Konch Mahrez Drinky Hammond Schlupp Vardy Ulloa Think Was will give us a bit extra steel at set pieces Yeah, we'll only concede a couple because of his lack of ability at RB nowadays...
Tommythefox06 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Yeah, we'll only concede a couple because of his lack of ability at RB nowadays... Swings and roundabouts , at least I know I've got one name right
cjslcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Swings and roundabouts , at least I know I've got one name right It just gives me flashbacks of him at Sheff Weds and Brighton away last season. *shivers*
st albans fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Stringer has tweeted that the starting line up might surprise a few. we know about KS but wonder if some of the younger guys who've travelled a long way might be rested?
Jace Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer for Schmeichel, GTF in ahead of Cambiasso
cjslcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Stringer has tweeted that the starting line up might surprise a few. we know about KS but wonder if some of the younger guys who've travelled a long way might be rested? Not sure that's what he's saying. He hasn't seen the line up but he seems to think there could be some surprises
Dan Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer in for Kasper is apparently the only change.
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Would be fun if Hamer is so good, he puts Schmeichel on the bench for the rest of the season.
Deucalion Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Would like to see Vardy for Nugent personally, just because V has pace and hopefully might bag a few more of his chances than Nugent has done. He is always a threat for a penalty too. Here's a random thought, what about an attacking 4-3-3? Sch/Hamer De Leat Moore Wes Konch Drinkwater Cambiasso King Vardy Nugent Ulloa Just because Stringer said the lineup could surprise people. Maybe we are going to put them under pressure??? If Cambiasso is as good as we are promised, then he should start if fit. Someone has to miss out for the team.
roblcfc84 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I know I'm going to get crucified given his first 3 performances but I just don't think Hammond is good enough. Surely Danny D should be in, and if Vardy is fit he has to play.
