ScouseFox Posted 21 November 2014 Author Posted 21 November 2014 Racing double for tomorrow. The New One Faugheen Two of my favourite horses running tomorrow. Odds not the best, but can't see either bring beat. Double returns 17.78 short prices but would be amazed if either lost. great to get the big guns back out for the winter, should be a good day racing. I'm following Scouse again. Like the look of both of these, not bad value either. here's hoping we smash it again that valencia price looks tempting donut, good find
Brooksy Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 They won 3-2 in the end So they did, brilliant stuff
Tom17LCFC Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 hamilton & everton double returns £33.90. hamilton have an artificial surface which massively benefits them playing at home having only lost 1 on it all season. everton on the other hand have struggled so far this season, in part due to their thursday night commitments in the europa league. no club football the past 2 weeks puts them on a level playing field with west ham though and I fancy them to triumph.
Tom17LCFC Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 I'll have a football/horse selection on saturday but to catch up I'll go for Dara Tango in the 2.25 at Haydock on saturday, currently at 14's. returns £150. 10/1 on betfair now, should shorten even more over the course of tomorrow.
Turtles Head Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Bolton to beat Blackpool Notts County to beat Yeovil £10 returns £53
Dan Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Scouse you're an absolute ledge for doing this and keeping it going. Top stuff mate. Agree. Great idea and genuinely enjoyable. Cardiff & btts v Reading. 10/3. Have won their last 4 games at home while conceding. Reading are a team capable of both conceding and scoring. Leicester & btts v Sunderland 10/3 - Leicester will be keen to show the fans they can still attack, there is no better opportunity to show this against an ageing Sunderland defence at home. Still shakey at the back and always likely to concede one. 17.77/1. £10 = £187.70 Here here... Anyhow... this weekend... I'm having two as I'm behind... #1 Chelsea vs West Brom | CHELSEA TO WIN TO NIL (4/5) | Doesn't really need explaining. Notts County vs Yeovil | NOTTS COUNTY (11/8) ( | I'll probably regret this as my logic here backfires so often in the football league - Notts County are 4th and have won six of their last seven. Yeovil are bottom, amazing really after the game they gave us at our place in March, it's been a long time since they tasted victory so everything really points to a Notts win. Those odds are incredibly generous taking this into account too IMO. £10 would return £42.80 #2 Leyton Orient vs Crewe | CREWE (4/1) | These are both gash. Orient seem to lose every single time I check them. It could go either way in my opinion and I think 4/1 is generous as a result. Blackpool vs Bolton | BOLTON (6/5) | Blackpool are the pits of the pits. Bolton are improving. £10 would return £110
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Good to be back in domestic action. Going slightly risky with my double this weekend. Colchester (5/4) vs Coventry - Two teams struggling for points and at the wrong end of the table meet on Saturday afternoon in League One. Recent form is the reason behind backing Colchester here, they have tasted victory in 2 of their last 3 home games. As I'm sure we are well aware, Cov are absolute tripe, yet to win away this season picking up just 3 points from 8 away days so far. In this relegation 6 pointer, look for the U's to register the W ( UU, double u.. Ok I'll get my coat..) Charlton (17/10) vs Millwall - The Addicks are unbeaten at home and have only tasted defeat twice in the Championship this season. I think this price is generous against a Millwall side, who with just a solitary road victory to their name, are hardly brimming with confidence. The only issue here is both teams are stalemate specialists. Charlton have a league high 9, alongside Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall have took a share of the spoils in 6 of their 17 outings too. I hope Charlton will have enough to see off Millwall here, the issue seems to be the draw is a likely possibility. £10 double pays £60.75 with SkyBet
K1FOX Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Got some catching up to do. 2.25 Haydock - Dara Tango 12/1 PaddyPower Bolton DNB 4/7 10 returns £204.29
K1FOX Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 And also, Hearts 2-1 Rangers 17/2 Middlesborough DNB 5/6 10 returns 174
K1FOX Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Finally, Rudy Gestede first goalscorer Blackburn 9/2 Dundee utd win + btts 11/5 10 returns 176
Vardinhio Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Wigan v BORO @ 2.80 CHARLTON v millwall @ 2.8 £10 returns £78.30
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Cue Card (Place only 3 places) The Tizzard team are starting to come into some form with 2 winners yesterday for Daryl Jacob and one faller at the second last when looking clear. Cue Card will definitely come on for his run a few weeks back when a disappointing 4th. Only potential problem is the rain, which are likely to favour a few of his rivals. Despite this I can't see 3 horses finishing in front of him.Charlton v Milwall (Home Win)Charlton started the season very well indeed, occupying the top 6 for the early part of the season before fading a little prior to the international break with just 1 win in 4. Milwall also started the season much better than expected, with safety looking a simple task for Holloways men during the first 7 games. Since then Milwall have only mustered 1 win in the last 10 and conceded 8 goals in the the last 3 matches. At almost 2/1 this seems a wonderful price for a Charlton win.£10 returns £48.60 with Ladbrokes.
Turtles Head Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Think I'm one behind still, so a BTTS double to catch up Huddersfield v Sheff W Hearts v Rangers Returns £28
separator Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 Weekend tip is SILVINIACO CONTI in the Betfair Chase on Saturday (Haydock, 3.00). 3/1 £10 win bet A horse I normally look out for in what will be a competitive race. Last couple of outings haven't been great but trainer Paul Nicholls has been bullish about his chances this week and those previous 2 races should hopefully get him match fit for this. He won this in 2012 and is fav @ 3/1 with Hills at the moment, with 9 horses declared for the race. Winner. Returned £40
Tom17LCFC Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 hamilton & everton double returns £33.90. hamilton have an artificial surface which massively benefits them playing at home having only lost 1 on it all season. everton on the other hand have struggled so far this season, in part due to their thursday night commitments in the europa league. no club football the past 2 weeks puts them on a level playing field with west ham though and I fancy them to triumph. take it. shame about dara tango, eventually went off at 20/1 and finished 3rd.
chrishlcfc Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 AC Milan vs Inter Milan BTTS 4/5: There have been lots of goals in these pairs Italian league games of late and as it is a derby game fancy there to be goals. Marseille 4/6: Marseille are unbeaten in there last 5 home games and have an excellent record against Bordeaux. £10 double returns £30 via Ladbrokes.
ScouseFox Posted 23 November 2014 Author Posted 23 November 2014 A fun weekend. The top 4 in the league all had profitable weekends. Some serious bits of profit being built up from The Blur, Brooksy, Tom & chris in the past few weeks. Still plenty of others going about their business nicely too! I've continued my win one lose one trend continually getting tantalisingly close to profit then ruining it all . Notable wins looking down the table for Bert, who tipped an easy footy double and separator who gave us a second winning horse in a row, backing old silviniaco conti to win the big race of the weekend @ a handsome 3/1. Sure he enjoyed seeing him romp home for another £30 profit. AS78UK gave us a winning horse double with Faugheen and The New One both winning head in chest, short prices but not a moments sweat. We've got Monday night football, champions league and non league sets of fixtures midweek and the dreaded betting on the europa league all to come this week, have fun chaps.
Dan Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 3 wins out of 15 is dismal. I actually knew Notts County would **** me.
Donut Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 Horrendous result for me at the Levante v Valencia game. I stated that my gut reaction wasnt 100%, and now a wish id have left alone. I was definitely suckered in by the generous Valencia price, but ignored the time honoured cliche that form goes out the window in derby games. It certainly did in this one, Levante upsetting all the odds to record a big confidence boosting win. Its a setback, but now i need to get back to winning ways.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 Southampton Villa Over 4.5 goals 13/2 with skybet. £10 returns £75
chrishlcfc Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 Southampton to win and BTTS 3/1: Fancy Southampton to win this and there to be a few goals, Villa are more than capable of scoring at home but think Saints will have to much firepower. £10 returns £40 via William Hill
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 Midweek double: MK Dons (3/4) vs Rochdale - MK Dons sit top of the League One form guide and have won 6 of their 8 home league games this season tasting defeat just once. They seem to have the ability to win tight games, their last 3 wins have been by just a single goal and they have kept clean sheets in 3 of their last 5 games. Rochdale are doing fairly well themselves sitting in 9th, but have been on the slide in recent weeks with back to back defeats. Stadium MK is a place you don't really want to be going mid-slide and I would expect that MK Dons will have enough to see off the Dale here. Macclesfield (19/10) vs Torquay - This is another one where I can't believe the price, usually when I say this my pick loses but hoping it turns round here. Macclesfield sit 4th in the Conference, unbeaten in their last 6. Winning 3, all at home and drawing their away games. They have won 7 of their 11 home games this season and are unbeaten at home. Torquay have won 4 of their 10 away games this season, but have struggled of late with just one win in six, sitting 19th in the form guide. Macclesfield have conceded just once in the last 3 home games and I would expect their good home run to continue here. £10 double pays £50.75
