Guest Bilo Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Derby's record in 2007-2008 was as follows: P38 W1 D8 L29 GS20 GC89 Pts11 We've already won more in five than Derby did in 38, and a win and a draw from Palace and Burnley takes us up to 12 points. This would mean we'll have obtained more in 7 games than Derby did in a whole season. As dog awful as Derby were in that season, that demonstrates what a remarkable start we've had considering the opposition.
Kitchandro Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 I still can't believe they got 11 points How is that even possible?
Happy Fox Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 The sheepshaggers are shite no surprise there!!!
ceredigion Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 I think Derby broke just about every unwanted record going that season. Fewest points in a season Fewest home points Fewest away points Fewest wins Fewest home wins Fewest away wins Most defeats Most home defeats Most away defeats Worst goal difference Worst home goal difference Worst away goal difference Fewest goals scored Fewest home goals scored Fewest away goals scored Longest run without a win Longest run of consecutive defeats The only record they failed to beat was Most goals conceded, which belongs to Swindon Town from the 93/94 season
lgfualol Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Will probably score more than Burnley though

Most records broken in one season.
C-man Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 I saw countless idiots (mostly Forest fans) saying we'd break all Derby's records. I can see how they thought that to be fair; they are magic judges of talent.

I can see how they thought that to be fair; they are magic judges of talent. Surely they'd want their biggest rivals to have the record as opposed to a team they aren't bothered about?
Guest Bilo Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Dear Derby, Your record is safe for another year. Seriously, how shit were you? Lots of love, Leicester
act smiley Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 Every now and again, I read comments where people say "oh, why did Newcastle sack Sam Allardyce?". The answer is playing 4-5-1 against that Derby team and losing.
David Hankey Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 So we now know that whatever happens to the rest of this season we have surpassed the Rams abysmal record of being relegated with a miserly 11 points, hooray!!
MattDCFC31 Posted 28 December 2014 Posted 28 December 2014 O come on lads (Derby fan here), we were bad, you were never going to break our points record anyway, you wont break any of our records for that matter, we were so bad most teams gave up at 3-0 out of respect for us , in fact I think it was the Villa game at home (after the 3rd goal) their players even stopped celebrating, realising how s*** we were . most teams barely celebrated the 1st goal after match day 19 haha. If we go up this season we would do much better than that season for sure, better management, better morale, better style of football etc, Davies was pathetic and wanted out the moment the final whistle blew at Wembley.

Whatever happened to you that season we somehow surpassed it taking two of your worst players (Oakley and Howard) and getting relegated ourselves, to league one.

Guest Bilo Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Bumping this because we've picked up more points in three weeks than Derby did in ten months last time they were here - what an incredible statistic!
