You need yourself a tidy silver side for our next epic series - not some makeshift rubbish!! Anyone else looking for a 3/3.5 star few games on fut xbone give a wave. I get bored playing Hazard and Lukaku every other match. I'll make a team just for you xxxI'll be on about 7
Ian W LCFC Posted 5 October 2014 Posted 5 October 2014 What are people's thoughts on the best formations for FUT this year? 4-3-3 seems to work okay for me and the 4-1-2-1-2 has also been decent. Not really been impressed with how the 4-42 plays this time around unfortunately. I'm tempted to try a 3 at the back formation. What would people recommend in terms of them?

It's basically a narrower 433 with the middle "forward" in the hole like Nugent vs United. Jefferson Cuero and Franco Arizala running rampant in front of a dribbly CAM. The other three midfielders sit like a standard three.

That and I play quite direct anyway. I'm a master of throwing away leads but I just excelled myself. Four nil up against a 100% Arsenal strongest eleven. Finished four all. Moron.
pooleyLCFC Posted 5 October 2014 Posted 5 October 2014 Three things that annoy me 1) The keepers always parrying it to the other striker who has an open goal or missing a shot straight them 2) Players colliding then flying off each other and humping each other 3) Some of the passing, easy wide open man to pass too and it will either go to the opponent or out for a throw

MozeyCo Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Best 3 at the back formation is 3-5-2 hands down. Just played some ultimate team and as long as your defense is semi-pacey you can't tell a difference. Especially since fullbacks are not needed due to the crossing nerf

zak_lcfc Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Been doing a Southampton career because they have a really nice team on FIFA, Didn't realise some of the quality of the players they've brought in since they were 'raided'. I have one major problem with goalkeeping though, Forster is 6"7 yet he rarely ever claims the ball from set pieces for me, the amount of times he's dropped it or misjudged it is crazy especially when he towers over almost everyone on the field. Loving using Jay Rodriguez though, feels so easy to dribble with and has decent pace just a shame he's been injured in real life for so long!

Finnegan Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Probably the thing that annoys me most with fut is the goals straight from kick off. I've done my fair few but it's still irritating. Because the defence are so flat and the midfield are so high it's basically run round two people and score.

Played all day yesterday, we only have one tv. I'm off work today though so once I get back from the gym I should be around. Bout 4ish. Til I get chucked off.
