Finnegan Posted 2 October 2014 Posted 2 October 2014 I don't really like playing the ai as it feels like it's always perfect or just makes very obvious forced mistakes on lower difficulties. Ruins my immersion a bit.

lgfualol Posted 2 October 2014 Posted 2 October 2014 Just started my Career Mode on Legendary. Good start 2-1 wins against Everton and Arsenal and then 2-2 away at Chelsea (conceded in the last min). Sold Nugent (Grewks will be delighted to know) GTF, Zoom, Hopper, Smith and I've pretty much completed depleted my budget. I got a slight boost to it at the start from playing x amount of career mode games on 15 or 14. Not sure which. Signed: Joel Campbell (75) RM - £1.9m Connor Wickham (72) ST - £2.1m Zakaria Bakkali (71) RW - £1.1m (who with the new player models, looks like a small child running around because he's so small!) Jon Flanagan (71) LB - £2m Arlind Ajeti (66) CB - £0.12m Harry Kyprianou (57) LWB - £0.52m Basically signed young players with 1 year left on their contract as they will get better and its an easy way to make money. Although I'll probably be hanging onto them for a while. Between them they've managed about 5 mins pitch time courtesy of Bakkali's cameo against Chelsea. Ulloa's got 3 in 3, Vardy got 2 MOM's, whilst King and Cambiasso are bossing the midfield.Definitely think I've got the hang of the game now, although I'll probably lose to Stoke and beat the big boys . Also, why do we all make it out like some players are playing poorly and its out of our control, when its all down to us?! Christ how did you get them for that cheap? I was told to pay huge amounts for those players. Bakalli was insane on Fifa 14, was 90 rated aged 20 on my old career and I sold him for absolutely loads

stripeyfox Posted 2 October 2014 Posted 2 October 2014 I was messing around in that menu at the top right of the screen (PS3) and it has a load of unlockables you can "buy" with coins (not sure if these are the same as FUT coins). Anyway, I have about 9,000 of them and brought a "financial investment" which added 50 million to my transfer kitty and a "super scout" who will unearth one superstar of the future.

Ill post when I have something I've always played Legendary but took advice off Operation Sports and tried professional, dropping my keeper ability and marking, while significantly upping CPU pass speed and accuracy while dropping their error. I think I've found the right combo, if a bit higher scoring than realistic (averaging maybe 5-6 a game total)

Might try legendary next season or might try adjusting the sliders to make it slightly harder. Didn't sign any players till January then signed: Kurt Zouma - 73 now 74 (Chelsea, loan) A. Rabiot - 73 (PSG, loan) Daniel Didavi - 74 now 76 (Stuttgart, 3.3m) Valentino Lazaro - 65 now 67 (Red Bull Salzburg, 2.5m - 18 year old) Saido Berahino - 67 (West Brom, 600k) Beat Chelsea 1-0 at home when both down to 10 men; beat Man City away 1-0 when down to 10 men after Cambiasso got sent, Berahino scored in the 90th. Just beat Spurs 3-0 at WHL, Nugent bagging 2 to make it 10 goals for the season (he did have 8 in 10).
