GingerrrFox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Any news on if any more Leicester players are going to get real faces?
Samilktray Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Just been and bought the game. Got my career mode up and running so now I'm gonna give this ultimate team business a go. No idea what I'm doing.

In a nutshell, save coins to buy team. You need chemistry to be high as otherwise you'll be crap so aim to build a team with a theme. Chemistry is based on club, league, nationality etc. So you could make a La Liga team or a Nigerian team or a Leicester team.

Samilktray Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Not sure if I'm being really daft but I can't seem to find where to change the difficulty level in career mode
Mark_w Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Not sure if I'm being really daft but I can't seem to find where to change the difficulty level in career mode Go to the office tab, select settings and you can change it there.
Tom17LCFC Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 giving ultimate team another go as well. got the ultimate team edition which comes with a free pack every week or something, how and where do I get the free pack?
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 Is it me or when you play at loftus road you hear the jermaine beckford chant Leeds had about his goal vs Man United?
dmayne7 Posted 7 October 2014 Posted 7 October 2014 So the updated stats have been out since Tuesday and there's a couple of decent additions but there's also some shocking ones. Nugent's sprint speed and Acceleration down to 77 and 74 Abysmal. Should really be 80+ and more like 84/85 because he's very quick without being Vardy pace. Morgan, who was already too slow/lacking agility has been downgraded. Whoever the jester above Ashley doing these ratings must clearly never have seen us play.

Finnegan Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 If I was asked to set Nugent's pace I'd probably make it about 77. 85, are you high? Some advice for a fairly new player now. Left shoulder button (xbox) to set players off on a run, it is just a tap not a hold, right? Reason I ask is that I've had very mixed results. Mainly on account of a forward with medium/medium work rates in FUT. Is it possible that at medium work rate he's just too lazy to make frequent forward runs? Or is it possible I've got tactics set up too negatively? I never mess around with the D pad to quick change tactics during a match. Should I be more often and does it make a noticeable difference to performance?

He's got decent acceleration because of his weird short strided run, but I'd say early 70's is more than fair.
Finnegan Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Ricey, on the subject of stats and ratings, is FM done a similar way to FIFA? With volunteer reps giving feed back to devs? Often felt Leicester got very harsh treatment in the series, though I admit I didn't play last year.

I'm not sure exactly how FIFA works, but FM has a Leicester researcher who reports to a Head Researcher. Leicester won't be as criminally underrated in FM15 as they are in FIFA 15, but that's not hard.
DB11 Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 giving ultimate team another go as well. got the ultimate team edition which comes with a free pack every week or something, how and where do I get the free pack? With your game you should have received a bonus code, put that into the store of Xbox or Playstation and the pack will appear in your list of packs whenever it is due
syston_fox Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I am officially useless at this FIFA. Had 6 games on online seasons last night and lost the lot of them. I've never been great at the games in the past but normally can get to about division 4 or 5 with no real difficulty. Can't even get out of division 9 at the moment!! My problem seems to be that every through ball seems to be massively overhit and when I do get a goalscoring chance, the keeper turns superhuman. Combine that with me being useless at it and you have a recipe for a broken controller.
Beliall Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I dodnt win for 3 days until my friend suggested last night I try 3-5-2. Won 2 and drew 1 seasons games before getting to the bronze cup final. Which I lost 6-0. Try it.

He's got decent acceleration because of his weird short strided run, but I'd say early 70's is more than fair. Well, his current pace is about the same as Knocky's, with whom Ash was disappointed that his speed got downgraded. Mid/early 70's of pace is slow for a striker in the top flight and Nugent is not slow. He's not electric, but he is quick. Somebody's pace isn't really an opinion, its a fact. The only question mark what you define as being quick. He regularly does people for speed. You're right about his acceleration being a reason for that but he's scored several goals where he's burst away from people. Goals like the one against Derby under Sven show that. Even the run he had against Palace the other week showed his pace. I guess, that he's not as direct as he was when he first joined us but he's still got a decent amount of pace. I also appreciate that most of the evidence I'm going off, is based on championship defenders. In FIFA, I would say that 80+ pace is decent and 85+ pace is quick. Granted on this one, it seems that lots of players have had there pace downgraded which is fair enough. In that case sprint speed 78 and acceleration 84 (something like that would be fair) but as it is, he is pretty slow on the game now and has no other redeeming attributes. Not that it proves anything but Sir Tom Finney, a pretty quick winger in his day (albeit it with the game played at a slower pace), constantly talked about his pace. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/preston/4573195.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/6506109.stm

Manwell Pablo Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Been doing a Southampton career because they have a really nice team on FIFA, Didn't realise some of the quality of the players they've brought in since they were 'raided'. I have one major problem with goalkeeping though, Forster is 6"7 yet he rarely ever claims the ball from set pieces for me, the amount of times he's dropped it or misjudged it is crazy especially when he towers over almost everyone on the field. Loving using Jay Rodriguez though, feels so easy to dribble with and has decent pace just a shame he's been injured in real life for so long! Funny you should say that, the previous mentioned 45 yard fluke cross goal I mentioned earlier in the thread was indeed past Fraiser Forster.
Finnegan Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Sounds good to me! If anyone is on xbox one and wants to add me then the gamertag is Tadders86 I thought I had you but realised it was on the old account, may have to send you an invite later. On a more stalkerish note, did you go to the Burnley game with your dad and park somewhere near DMU? (Probably the creepiest thing I've ever posted.)
Finnegan Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Get some silver centre backs you cheeky bastard.
