bluesbrothers Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Good to hear, and always good for first-teamers to get a run-out when they're out of contention. I think all of those players - Wood, GTF, Simpson, James, Knocky, Powell and Hamer - will have their impact throughout the season. In the case of Wood and Hamer, they've already made massive contributions to four points of our current tally.

LCFC FOX Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 He's a striker and he's scoring. Great player. Potential to be better than Wickham. I just hope he gets a chance soon.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Can anyone supply the Villa team sheet for todays game. Just curious to know.
DB11 Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Hamer is starting https://twitter.com/officialfoxes/status/519792053061173248 I just based it from this post Lawrence is on international duty too isn't he? #lcfc side to face Villa: Maddison, Simpson, Elder, Cambiasso, Wasilewski, Pearson, Taylor-Fletcher, James, Wood, Powell, Knockaert #lcfc subs: Hamer, Barmby, Dodoo, McCourt, Rowley
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Sorry I meant the Aston Villa team sheet as I want to know the side we played against.

He's scored in a second rate friendly thats all. In fact I hope he don't get a chance at all as it would mean no injuries and all forwards are scoring. I really don't get the love affair with him yes he had a great start but little since. The only place he will get is Ulloa's and why would anyone want him dropped. Also if he was as good as people think why did West Brom get rid and why was NP happy to let him go to Wolves.

So many people think he's crap but he's a quality finisher
Chug Laguna Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I've never honestly heard somebody refer to Chris Wood as "crap", as he's not. I've often heard him referred to as "fourth choice striker for (our) Premier League side", which he is.
sylofox Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 to let him go out and score goals, but he wanted to stay and prove people wrong and to prove he's good enough for the premiership. So many people think he's crap but he's a quality finisher I am not saying he is crap. But we are not the sort of club that can give him a chance to prove he is good enough unless players are suspended or injured. While Ulloa is doing it he won't get in as he is not a replacement for Vardy or Nuge IMO. He is also nowhere near as good as Ulloa in the air so why does he deserve such a chance with us.

I agree that Ulloa is much better in the air, wood is best when played to his feet. So there is no reason why Ulloa and wood can't be a partnership. It doesn't mean we have to play hoof ball because both are fairly tall.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I can't find the Villa team sheet anywhere....I think it is a well hidden secret clouded in mystery. Makes me want it more!!

Do you not think if he really did offer more than Nuge and Vardy NP would not have him in every team? Or you trying to say Nige who see's him all week knows less than you?

Do you not think if he really did offer more than Nuge and Vardy NP would not have him in every team? Or you trying to say Nige who see's him all week knows less than you? He doesn't necessarily offer more, but he offers something different and should have come on instead of Nuge against Burnley, not because he is better but he is a more suitable replacement for Ulloa.

Chug Laguna Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Ulloa and Wood strike partnership jesus christ. Relatively certain it was a joke
Nalis Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I can't find the Villa team sheet anywhere....I think it is a well hidden secret clouded in mystery. Makes me want it more!! Probably for the best we don't know, lets just pretend it was their first team minus internationals
st albans fox Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 The game isn't mentioned on their website or their twitter feed. Nor on their forum. maybe we played a different Aston villa?
sylofox Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Did we get the 3pts. Till we are safe I really don't give a fvck how we get the points.
Unabomber Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 The more I think about it the more I think this could be a hoax to make it look like were are doing things during the break to stem the rise of the pearsonout brigade.
