2 pts from a possible 24 and sounding like a broken record

Here are the last 8 post match comments , bottom line is players all over park not good enough , manager making too many mistakes , team do not look united , and right now a new voice might be needed , I know I'm tired of listening to his droll droning on after games ......new voice and new ideas needed

We have not played a single team in last years top 7 since beating united we have played the two other promoted teams and most of the others were nearer the bottom than the top .... Also rans , we got 2pts from 24 against mostly also rans

Time to wake up this is a shambles being masked as some sort of unlucky or positive set of circumstances

The owners have cash , the club has amazing support and quite frankly everyone deserves better than this

Time for the general to own up and admit this is a level above his capabilities

Quotes

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "There were lots of positive things and we created enough chances to win. That remains very frustrating for us. We conceded two poor goals before half-time and we looked dangerous throughout the game.

"It was about making sure we kept threatening and we were unlucky not to get anything from the game. Today it didn't happen for us.

"The players have done so many good things but it hasn't turned out the way we would have liked."

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson: "I thought we played pretty well under the circumstances - after a difficult run of results - and created some good chances. You could argue we did enough to win the game.

"Before today we had only kept one clean sheet, so there always positives from getting a point."

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson:

"The top and bottom of it is we couldn't score.

"We're experiencing a tough run at the moment and we can't find a way to win.

"Clearly we have ability but the Premier League is about being ruthless in both boxes.

"It is a learning curve for us but we are not here to make up the numbers."

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson:

"It took an own goal to separate the sides today and that is an indicator of how small the margins are.

"I have to look back at the game and rue the fact we didn't make enough of some situations. That is how it is going for us at the moment.

"We can't get too wrapped up in the negativity that some people throw in our direction. When you have set-backs in life you have to take a look at what is actually going on.

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson:

"Our quality let us down. I look at the first half in particular, unforced errors in possession.

"We put ourselves under too much pressure, because we constantly gave the ball away and that's where we have to improve.

"Our performance has not reflected what we are capable of.

"But for the most part this season we've applied ourselves exceptionally well."

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson:

"It's not a case of making excuses, we had enough opportunities today against a side who have been under pressure themselves but we didn't find a way through.

"I suppose one of the things we take from any game is to say that we are capable of competing, we have good players, but our game management could be better.

"Both sets of players dealt with the kick-off delay very well, it turned out to be just an hour and these things happen. It didn't affect how the players approached the game. They were upbeat and focused."

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson:

"I'm annoyed, we should win the game. We're better than we were last season and I don't think Burnley are as good as they were on today's performance.

"But what they do have is spirit.

"It felt like a Championship game, there was not a great deal of fluidity to it.

"Burnley didn't come here to play any fluid football, they came to be difficult to beat. We didn't do enough with the ball but we still looked comfortable."

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "It is disappointing to lose to two set-plays. The fashion in which we conceded the momentum was disappointing. I thought we started well and created chances but were unable to make anything of them.

"We were under par in the second half.

"You have to give them credit though. They defended with intelligence. But ultimately we had to come up with ways to break them down and couldn't find that edge."

I'd love it (Keegan style) if he just came out after the match and said the whole squad is shit. At least it's honest, that's what we want to hear right?

Just want to to hear how he is going to fix it , and as I don't think he can , I'm not going to hear that

80m in summer and another 40m in January and upgrade most of Those you mention and at same time get a man in who can mix it with some of the finest football brains on the planet , Mr Kingpower has said £180-200m available well we may have left it too late to smash into that

Some of the contracts being handed at out right now to guys we should be replacing is also NOT fixing things

I'm getting bored everyone wanting their own Pearson Out thread. You know full well this could easily go in one of the many existing ones. It's just a desire for attention.

No it's just a point , you didn't need to read or comment unless of course it makes you feel better :)

...which could have gone in another thread. You haven't opened up a new debate here, you've just added another opinion to an existing one. The reason you made a new thread is because you felt your view deserved more exposure. It's attention seeking.

There's an interesting point in there, though. Pearson hasn't helped himself, it's all very Rob Kelly-esque. And, I might be wrong, but I think he's often had a positive response in the past when he's come out and said 'that wasn't good enough and I'm going to sort it out'. Maybe, if he gets the chance and if Tuesday night goes tits up, it could be the moment.

The amount of money you're suggesting us to spend is ludicrous and highly risky, if not borderline insane.

You still believe we, as a newly-promoted team, would spend £180m-£200m in one season? I can't think of any other PL team who's ever done that.

We're new to this league and finding it out the hard way. The January transfer window should give us a better indication as to where we're headed.

And I expect us to shift things around a little bit, tweaking where tweaking is due.

What is really boggling my mind/grinding my gears is that after 96 minutes of the 7th game of the seasons we were basically on 11 points.

2 months and 6 games later and we're on 10 points.

Looking at the table- we don't have the worst home record, the worst away record, fewest goals scored, most conceded, most defeats, worst goal difference and even the longest winless run.

Yet everyone has at least a point more.

I reckon we'll be on 12 points in January.

we're goin to get 2 more points in a month?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
