Has anyone been watching it? Comes to an end tomorrow Betfair are taking bets on who did it just put a cheeky £5 bet on it

I gave up on the American (Canadian) version after a few episodes into the first season. They're milking every bit of story out of the original and artificially extend it beyond meaninglessness.

I'm pretty sure it's Alain the hotel owner, but he's only 5/4 so not worth it. Next I'd guess the Mayor, he's 7/1.

As a dad with young kids the storyline is not something I want to watch.  At all.  no problem with it being made or with others watching it.  Just wouldn't watch it myself.

I don't have kids and I've found it heart wrenching to watch, especially the first few episodes, so I can see why you'd feel that way. It is well made and well acted, so I've enjoyed it as well as finding it heart wrenching.

I bet on the mayor, think there will be another twist yet and the same surname surely has to be more than coincidence

I did the same for this version for the same reason seems to be the standard approach for modern serial dramas

I only started watching from episode 4 onwards. I really don't have a clue what's going on or who anybody is.

It's made a change that a British drama has been produced that is more than 3-4 episodes long. I was expecting it to be a bit quicker paced after the first 2 episodes purely because I assumed it would be a short series, but the last few episodes have been very good and although the storyline is obviously harrowing it's made a change from most of the dross on TV.

Agreed, I've enjoyed Season 2 of 'The Fall' as well.

Recording 'The Legacy' as well - it's the latest from the makers of The Killing and Borgen - not started watching yet though.

Alain is clearly making this up. We saw Ollie at the window of the house alive and he drew the picture there, he wasn't dead when he arrived.

EDIT: Spoke too soon.

Such an annoying episode and ending, making it out all through the episode that he would have ended up alive in Russia with that picture at the beginning, Betfair haven't decided what to do regarding the betting to no surprise
