MC Prussian Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Which footballer(s) do you admire for his/their loyalty and consistency? Which players do you think should've received more praise for their contributions to one particular club? Here's two of my favourites: Antonio Di Natale. Le Tiss.
David Guiza Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Not so much anymore, but Xabi Alonso has always been deserving of more praise than he used to get. Liverpool haven't been anywhere near the same, bar last season, since he left and he also kept Madrid ticking over. Totti - could easily have moved to any of Europe's top clubs but stuck with Roma, through thick and thin. If it weren't for injuries he could have been even greater. One of the best players Italy has ever produced in my opinion.
Fox92 Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Top player Le Tiss. The definition of players not needing to win everything to be classed as a great player.
LCFC Rennie Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Totti for me, numerous bids from other clubs but never left. Waiting for someone to say Gerrard, even though he handed a transfer request.
MPH Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Conrad. I suppose if best impression of a mannequin whilst sitting on a bench is Heroic then i quite agree with you...
Donut Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Paul Wotton at Plymouth was one of those type figures
Donut Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Kevin Nicholls, left Leeds as an ex Luton player when they were deducted 30 points to go back to play for them and help them out.
