crazies Posted 22 December 2014 Posted 22 December 2014 yes ... yet another Pearson thread.. :xmasangry: i have been reading the forum for years and very rare i post but this crap needs to stop. im not a fan of NP and stopped going to games when he came back as 3rd choice manager after sven got booted out but after eating humble pie and seeing us fail in the playoffs and then getting a record points tally for the club to seal promotion last season. i still dont go to the games but i always want the club to succeed whether it be under NP or the next manager ..but seriously who the hell is out there better than NP right now ?? trawl through this forum and there are plenty of opinions from individuals who say how they would manage the club but hey when LCFC give you a call let us know !! to be sure it took us 10 years to get to the premier league but in that 10 year stint we had some shocking managers like levein kelly holloway thats the reason it took 10 years !! in came pearson and gets automatic promotion at the first time of asking (something no other club has done from league 1 ) yea i hear you say man city did but they went up via playoffs in 1999 Pearson continued his success in championship and in reality was forced out of the club after the playoff semi and went to hull. but when he left had a 51% win rate... better than MON's 38% win rate but only 1/2 the games managed. sven believe it of not did have a decent record for win rate but he lacked the charisma that NP had despite his 43% win rate from his 55 games. NP is a decent manager (i hate saying that) who will get LCFC out of this slump as he has before.. even if we get relegated he is still the man for the job to build and learn from what he has tried to adapt to over the last 17 games .. i would love another manager to come to leicester (so i can start going again)but truth is there aint 1 out there with better credentials than NP right now.. so get over yourselves and support the team and manager through this learning curve ... merry xmas to one and all ps .. all sarcastic posts aimed at me wil be treated with the contempt they deserve .. :xmaslaugh: :xmaslaugh:

NP is the only manager in recent times that had not been sacked by the board.. when 2 others refused the position he was approached as what i saw as a panic signing and came back to LCFC on a better contract than he had before.. all the money i had spent in the club over the years to pay managers their compo annoyed the hell out of me and i took a silent protest and refuse to go pay anymore money till he has gone ! i seriously didn't expect him to be here as long as he has and be as successful as he has been and thats the reason i have eaten humble pie in my opinion about him. i actually have a life outside of LCFC now and work 6 days a week so dont get to go football matches as im trying to fund my daugters uni fee's and have gotten used to not going and spending £100 every weekend on LCFC.. so just because i dont pay to go see them play does not mean i dont want them to do well or that i dont support the team !

He walked, therefore wasn't entitled to any compensation. Any deal would've benefited the club as much as him, otherwise they would've just sacked him. Also, you're refusing to go, until the club sack him and pay him off again? (I'm aware that it'll be the first time they've actually sacked him)
