bovril Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 OP is in the top 10 most repped posts in foxestalk history 50 of those reps were people missing the quote button.
nettle Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 It's not about the results though is it! It's about having a great bloke in charge on here.
Unabomber Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 50 of those reps were people missing the quote button. lmao It's not about the results though is it! It's about having a great bloke in charge on here. Exactly.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 OP is in the top 10 most repped posts in foxestalk history Of course he is. It's a lovely, twee thing to write. And it will be repped because it's cool to do so. Unfortunately, it's hot air. IMO
ADK Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Indeed they do. They convenientyly forget the 9 points from 19 games we've picked up since coming back from 0-2 against Utd. 7 points from our last 6 though.

fleckneymike Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 7 points from our last 6 though. So you're saying they're also overlooking 2pts from 13 games? Good point well made.
Unabomber Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Kudos for managing to describe a MattP post as 'twee'.
ADK Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 So you're saying they're also overlooking 2pts from 13 games? Good point well made. I'm not sure what you are trying to say. There's more logic in using 6-game recent form to judge current performance than jumping over recent games to pick out the worst run of results surely?
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Kudos for managing to describe a MattP post as 'twee'. Mr P writes some great stuff. He also writes some not so great stuff. I think? he said that the 'Premiership ain't all that', last season. Unfortunately, we've found out that's just not true.
fleckneymike Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The award for poor timing of a thread goes to...
GaelicFox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 No not Andy King. To the DT's, seen it alls etc who last week said the 'pro Pearson' lot had vanished. Well we're still here. I'd be delighted if Pearson was here for the rest of my life, he runs a football club in every way I love, from the morals of the players, the attitude of those wear the badge to the fiscal stability to the football club. Has he made mistakes? Yes. That's what people do. Give me someone you think better? No thanks.
Mark_w Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The award for poor timing of a thread goes to... It's incredibly well timed, it sums up how a large number of us felt when this sickening decision was made. Stay up and it won't feel as good, go down and it won't feel as bad as far as I'm concerned. I'm just not going to give a **** about what the club does this season. Thank you Nigel Pearson for the most enjoyable years I've had and I imagine will have following Leicester City.

Thank you Nigel Pearson for the most enjoyable years I've had and I imagine will have following Leicester City. You mean stay up? This sentence sums up why a lot of posters feel there are some on here who support the man over the club. So your edit confirms that you meant "stay up and it won't feel as good", which is fvcking ludicrous. If we stay up now (I highly doubt we will) we'll look back to this sacking as one of the best decisions in the club's history. And you'll be moping in the corner?

We need as many points in the remaining 15 games as we have achieved in the previous 23 to stand any chance of staying up. If we stay up I imagine we'd all be ****ing ecstatic.

Yeah I'm saying I won't be as ecstatic as I would be if Pearson had kept us up. Not that it's going to happen.
bovril Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Yeah I'm saying I won't be as ecstatic as I would be if Pearson had kept us up. Not that it's going to happen. Wow. Stay safe, Mark.

Guest MattP Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Yeah yeah..I think it's one of the funniest things I've read in ages. Literally, comedy gold... Why? It's a huge show of support against a decision made now. Is it comedy gold every week when people call for his head and we don't sack him?
