Guest MattP Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 People actually started booing when One Nigel Pearson was sung? Unbelievable. Why do we get this lot?

MrSpaM Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Can we try not to punch each other after this game please?

NFPOUT Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Watching them two on Tuesday I can't believe it was Senior who got rid. For the record Pearson was sacked and the only reason he was reinstated (by Susan Wheelen) was because they found out they couldn't sack him without paying his contract up. He was sacked for bringing the club in to disrepute. There is no dispute between the owners family regarding Pearson. Its totally up to you if you believe this or not, it doesn't matter either way but it may give you a clue (if you accept it that is) of where the owners stand with the manager.

How has he brought the club into disrepute when the FA haven't charged him for anything?
Donut Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 We can argue Pearson in, Pearson out till the cows come home on here, but can we please keep the confrontations out of the stands, it is ridiculous.
Guest Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Make sure you stand Sometimes no choice. If you are near front and there is a jobsworth steward telling you to sit down constantly...

NFPOUT Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 How has he brought the club into disrepute when the FA haven't charged him for anything? He didn't have to be charged by the FA with the incident with MacArthur to be deemed, bringing the club into disrepute. Like l said it doesn't matter if you want to doubt what i'm saying, just thought l might enlighten you. This is not finished by the way, there are hurdles to cross before the owners get everything in place. lf you take it as fact that he was sacked and there was no dispute between the owners about the decsion , then do you think that they will change their minds ? He's still in charge strictly for financial reasons. The only way that he could possibly keep his job is if there is a miracle and we win every week during his stay of execution, this bit is my personal view only.

Wouldn't bringing the club in to disrepute be a breach of contract?

Pearson and the player have said it's been blown up, the FA haven't seen fit to charge him, if they sacked him for bringing the club into disrepute then I reckon Pearson could contest it. I do believe he will go before the end of the season.

If he was going to be sacked for bringing the club into disrepute he would have to go through an internal disciplinary process before that happened, given it was a Sunday night and most of the board were in Thailand I think it's clear that didn't happen. He wasn't charged by the FA and McArthur played down the incident, so the club wouldn't have a leg to stand on describing it as any sort of misconduct.
Guest MattP Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 And no way in a million years do I believe someone as experienced as Susan Whelan wouldn't know proper business procedure in dismissing someone.
Unabomber Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Would believe him more if his username wasn't NFPOUT for a start.
canadaukfox Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Swap manager for gaffer and you're onto a winner!Scans better! Thanks for the input!Need to come up with another one about beating wild dogs to death...
C-man Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 lol Imagine someone so naive that they believe a very experienced businesswoman didn't think she'd have to settle in case of dismissal. Move along now NationalFrontPout
