dogadug Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Agree Was had to play - been our best defender this season. Morgan a liability most of the season. Schwarzer keeps getting picked despite making a howler a game and Hamer having done nothing. Wouldnt have played 5 at the back personally but we ran them close so I cant grumble at that too much I guess. Fair enough, agree with that too. A pretty fair assessment although I think 5 at the back worked very well.

I take back the 'pmsl' - I wasn't even laughing. When I stopped to question myself I realised there wasn't quite as many flaws as I thought.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Any need for that really? Take it you wasn't at Old Trafford and seen our supporters fighting with each other over Pearson in and Out? We could have a very much divided away end tomorrow.. There was a bald headed bloke with glasses who was giving the anti Pearson rant in the concourse outside block 22. And I mean absolutely ripping him. Was soon shut up though with 1 nigel Pearson chants all around him. Nob.
lestajigs Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Small group, when I say small, I mean literally about 10 in the concourse singing "one neil Lennon" and "oh Gary Gary" and booing when NP songs were sung. As well as in the actual stands, it's clear to me that 99.9% of fans are well behind Pearson. I'd say about 75% tbf
filbertway Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 And to "Iwan is a Welshman": "Nigel is our manager, He wears a managers coat Don't you knock him over Cuz he'll grab you round the throat" Swap manager for gaffer and you're onto a winner!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Tomorrow. Should you be travelling tomorrow to Arsenal. Please please please get behind our team! I'm not asking people to sing Pearson name if you don't like him just don't argue with fellow fans if they chose to. Get behind our team and sing loud and proud.Well said AshleyAnd that goes for every game until the end of he season Come on you Foxes!!!!
Monsell1976 Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Yes some were. Pathetic. If you don't agree, don't join in - not boo. Especially considering NP got his tactics bang on yesterday In general definitely the worst away atmosphere for a while I'm not in to booing at football matches, well not where my team is concerned. But if a group of people who don't believe in Pearson, chanted Pearson out, would those who support him just be quiet, even though they don't agree.

Both have a negative effect. Where as one nigel pearson is more likely to have positive one in the pitch than a negative

Nob.Yeah had to laugh at that, was when Walcott scored, I'd just gone down and he's was red faced shouting he's a clown, a tosser and whatever else.Soon ****ed off though.

Where as one nigel pearson is more likely to have positive one in the pitch than a negativeI'm just getting at the point that those that don't like Pearson are being told to keep their opinions to themselves.I don't boo, but under the circumstances, the way results have gone, those who support Pearson by singing his name, that's fine, but those who boo him are scum bags, but only showing their view, freedom of speech and all that. I know it's not a positive thing to do, but this season has been nothing short of a disaster and some are getting restless.

I know it's not a positive thing to do, but this season has been nothing short of a disaster and some are getting restless. I wouldn't ever do it but could very slightly understand booing a bad performance or bad tactics etc, but yesterday NP got everything fairly spot on tactics wise and with the team. Yet a small section still boo when Pearsons name is chanted near the end. Can't understand why anyone would do it myself, has a negative effect on the team and the manager who it increasingly looks will be the 1 in charge of our bid for survivial.
Monsell1976 Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 They can say what they like, I just don't understand why they would boo when that's not gonna help it's more than likely going to hinder.I honestly think the city fans have been over patient this season, with the results and on some occasions performances being shocking for long periods, there has been no booing or Pearson out chants, which is an achievement, given the divide on the man.So as much as some don't rate Pearson, and slate him on places like this, the majority including myself turn up and support, but after this poor season nobody can be blamed for booing, and thankfully it's still a minority, regardless of many peoples views.

StanSP Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Well done those in the away end. Was sat high up in the West Stand (halfway between halfway line and goal we were shooting towards in 2nd half). The booing must have been a hell of a minority cos I heard nothing and the celebrations for Kram's goal looked brilliant. Thought you guys were quite loud (not consistently but in bursts I guess).
Maybes Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Nice snaps Stan. I was 2/3 of the way back in block 21. Pretty much non stop where we were. Think the problem was the away end no singing in unison. Too many pockets of fans singing different things. As for the Pearson outers...the same guy that was running his mouth at United was at it again towards a youngish lad near the back row. Stewards soon grabbed hold of him and moved him on.
StanSP Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Cheers. I don't get to go to many away games so it was great to see us in person and making some noise and making ourselves heard.
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 The away end did not lend itself to singing in union. There were at least 2 separate singing areas and often 4 or 5 different pockets singing different songs or the same songs but not at the same time. What I liked was that we stayed behind the team and when there was the merest hint of a fightback we got right behind the lads. There was a certain defiance to our support that I thought was great. The clapping from the players at the end felt very genuine to me and if we and the team can keep that up and they can prevent the errors in both areas we may just start to see a resurgence.

This was behind me and he was making a right idiot of himself with lads all around telling him to calm down which seemed to make him worse! There were plenty of people up for an atmosphere but at one stage there were three different chants going on ..... Nice ground suffering the curse of the modern stadium!
JonnyBoy Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Shocking end IMO. What does it take for fans to start singing at away games? The fracases this week should have got people up for it. It's the Emirates stadium, massive underdogs and only about 200 singing at any one time. Shocking
Benguin Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 I was lower tier block 21, I thought we were great. People need to learn the Kramaric song though. My mate (arsenal fan) said we were the best away support he's heard all season.
