Apparently the players clapped the fans individually after the match.

I rang the club to find out what time kick off was and they said to me "what time can you get here?"

I remember a game from that era when we played Wrexham at home and there were literally 2 people in their section of the kop.

Not a pearson love in yes he has faults we all know that.

I personally think he is the best man to bring us back up.

But I do agree some of our failings this season are down to him and will not defend him on that.

It's the he is shite type comments that rub me up or I do not like him.

There is no reason for the abuse some show him he's been great for us and if this is a step to far so be it.

That does not make him a w4nker or a useless manager.

I have no complaint with fans that have respect for what he has done for us but are pissed at what is going on.

Pure abuse to the man I will not accept four seasons of joy one of despair just cut him some slack and show a little respect.

100% this.

I was at this night game. I was only 12 and went with a couple of mates.

It's the coldest I've ever been at a game. It was so cold that I was struggling to walk as it felt as though I'd got frost bite.

I was in the supporters club corner and tried to warm up my feet on a portable gas heater at half time and melted my wellies.

Always think of this game as the start to the great run that culminated in promotion that season.

Used to stand in the 'Supporters club Corner' too back in those days, spent most of the time making up daft songs for us to sing, great days though with draught beer at half time and winding Cliff up and that miserable Geordie bloke with the thick dark glasses who was on the club committee...

So were taking more fans away than we got at home in 1983. lol

It makes me laugh when people say how they miss filbert Street and the atmosphere. We had some seriously shit atmospheres in those days.
