copunk Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 I agree that as fans and supporters of football clubs, we have the right to air our opinions and displeasures, we should be able to voice our views on how we feel the team is playing, the good and the bad. however I really think a lot of our fans need to really look at themselves, yes I admit yesterday we really were poor, especially in the 2nd half, and yes villa are a side that we should be looking to do a lot better against, on the other hand some of the garbage that's been said the last couple of months really is pathetic. Maybe people got too used to winning last season, steam rolling the opposition, scoring with ease, well shock f*****g horror, we are in the prem now, theres a reason why its called the biggest league in the world. so for the rest of the season, seeing as a lot of our fans have already wrote us off, just pipe down with the negativity a bit, and put that effort into getting behind the lads
Stadt Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The moaning threads are really boring but the keep the faith/be positive threads are almost as bad, 99% of the Pearson out bunch are melts and the staunch Pearson defenders are so tedious

Stevosevic Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The reality is that smaller clubs have been promoted and done far more than us. The table is an embarrassment.
Voll Blau Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The moaning threads are really boring but the keep the faith/be positive threads are almost as bad, 99% of the Pearson out bunch are melts and the staunch Pearson defenders are so tedious The fact that everyone thinks their opinion merits its own thread is what gets me, given the same subject's being discussed over and over.
Stadt Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The fact that everyone thinks their opinion merits its own thread is what gets me, given the same subject's being discussed over and over. Indeed, basically these threads infer "Right this thread will clear up what all of these other threads aren't doing." but only continue the tedium.
copunk Posted 16 February 2015 Author Posted 16 February 2015 The fact that everyone thinks their opinion merits its own thread is what gets me, given the same subject's being discussed over and over. isn't that what a forum is for?
Monk Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Fans need to realise the don't have the power they used to back in the 90s. You only have to look at Newcastle earlier this season to see that. The reason I've been so flippant in that other thread is because organising anything is pointless. You have no control over how the business is run. It's a business involving vast sums of the owners money, I think their entitled to make their own decisions.
Kitchandro Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The reality is our team has been an embarrassment this season. I don't get it, it's acceptable for us to be so disgracefully bad just because we're in the Premiership? The season has been a complete and utter failure, yes in comparison with last season, yes in comparison with most seasons. Last season is relevant because for us to go up with that many points means things must have gone very badly wrong for us to be on so few now, and to be below teams we were so much better than last season. People like you are the ones who need a reality check, this season has been a disgrace. Burnley are above us This. This is the reality.
Monk Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Disagree that we've been an embarrassment. Yes we are bottom but we haven't been getting spanked every week.

MHC Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The moaning threads are really boring but the keep the faith/be positive threads are almost as bad, 99% of the Pearson out bunch are melts and the staunch Pearson defenders are so tedious Well you are either one or the other so which one are you? Pearson in or Pearson out? A melt or tedious?
Stadt Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Well you are either one or the other so which one are you? Pearson in or Pearson out? I'm mostly indifferent now, do you really have to be in or out?
MHC Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 I'm mostly indifferent now, do you really have to be in or out? You must have an opinion on whether or not you want Pearson to stay. Every Leicester fan has an opinion on this.
Strokes Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 You must have an opinion on whether or not you want Pearson to stay. Every Leicester fan has an opinion on this. Why must he have an opinion on it, he can quite easily be happy either way.

Believe me, my reality has been well and truly checked!!!
Stadt Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 You must have an opinion on whether or not you want Pearson to stay. Every Leicester fan has an opinion on this. I think it'd be pointless now because I think we're going down with or without Pearson, Pearson obviously isn't a great premiership manager but his record as a championship manager is fantastic.

shailen Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 People are reacting as if we are adrift with only 5 games to go. We have the games to get out of trouble especially with us facing some of our main relegation rivals, its a chance for us to drag teams back into the mix. YES it has been a poor season. YES it is going to be difficult to rectify the situation BUT its not impossible.

Quite frankly the negativity being shown by people who accept defeat after defeat after f'n defeat as if that is all they aspired to this season is the most negative thing about our club at the moment. Even more-so than Pearson's tactics.
Monk Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Agree, but it's very unusual for a team in our position to have an improvement in form enough to close the gap. Very very unusual.

Dan Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The types who have been anti-Pearson since day one I couldn't care less about. They're prats. It is not however unreasonable in my opinion to think a change may be for the better now.
