TWEET TWO: "Not saying it will definitely happen but enquiries have been made by the sounds of things. Guess who and where?" TWEET THREE: (To David Jones who asked who it was) "@DavidBGJones Hearing that Leicester have enquired about Beckham when MLS season ends on November 21st. Just an enquiry but it has been made" And slightly off topic... Whilst there's some excellent schools in the area for his children, I think I might have ruined it. You see, I used to stand around collecting autographs after matches back in the day as the players walked from up towards the players lounge. Back in 1994/95 season, a young David Beckham walked passed me and my brother. My brother turned to me and asked who the player was and whether it was worth getting his autograph. Rather loudly, I replied "No, it's just David Beckham, some youth team player. He'll never make it any good." David clearly heard as he turned his head immediately to look at us and walked on past. That was probably the moment my teenage dreams of being a football scout died as he went on to international superstardom, but I would like to think that that was the moment which spurred a young Beckham on to being a better player.
