NottsFox Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 What's all this I saw on a Facebook site for the foxes asking about whose joining the boycott at Leeds? I've already ordered my ticket...
Babylon Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Boycotting what? Boycotting the team for not getting promotion? Christ if we did that down the years we'd be playing in front of nobody all the time.
Mark_w Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 I wonder how many of them would have boycotted it if we'd beaten Millwall . I'll still be going.

Larry_LCFC Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Boycott? FFS people get a grip. How pathetic can our fans get! Its our team and we support them through whatever. Christ!
The Doctor Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Really people? Boycotting the Leeds game because of the scandalous prices they want to charge us - perfectly good idea.
jonthefox Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Waste of time. The only people who will suffer is you and the team . Ken Bates is a cnut of the highest order i agree, but a few city fans not showing up will make no difference.
J.Lisemore Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Bates is already a clown. But if people are willing to pay big money to watch us, fair play to them. He won't be taking any of my money thats for sure.
Mack Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Do you seriously think Bates could give two flying ****s if 800 or 2000 Foxes fans show up?
Libertine Dream Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 I'll still be going but I think the people who want to boycott it are doing so because of the extreme prices for a worthless game. Still it won't make any difference to Ken Bates if a few hundred Leicester fans don't turn up so justgoand support your team and enjoy a day out
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Do you seriously think Bates could give two flying ****s if 800 or 2000 Foxes fans show up? yeah becasue of the ££££ he'll be missing out on. 35 x 2000 = £70,
jonthefox Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 And besides. If promotion is achieved (one day),you'll have to get use to these prices.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 At 36quid a go and with nothing to play for I won't be going. I simply can't afford it. That's not a boycott though. Bear in mind our ticket prices are one of the worst in the league though.
LCFC_Bradders Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 Boycott? How about we be true fans and support our team the good times and bad times (missing out on promotion). I'm sure if we were in the play-offs/ automatic places people wouldnt want to boycott it.
Mack Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 yeah becasue of the ££££ he'll be missing out on. 35 x 2000 = £70,000 That is a very small amount in the grander scheme of things. Dont go because it's a nothing game, fair enough, but not this, no one at Leeds would give a monkeys.

davieG Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 And besides. If promotion is achieved (one day),you'll have to get use to these prices. Used to them - yes, pay them - no. If that and more is the price you pay for PL football then it's a price I wont be paying

Bilo Posted 15 April 2012 Share Posted 15 April 2012 It's about the ticket prices that everybody has rightly condemned on the T&T threads. Hate to bang on about it but this is what's wrong with the mentality of the football supporter in this country. We bitch, moan and kick up a right stink about pricing but when the opportunity to hit one of football's greediest men where it hurts presents itself we all shy away behind the veneer of loyal support. The season's effectively over, the Leeds game will be a dead rubber and you'll be treated like the lowest form of vermin by a stewarding team who'd rather see a ten year old boy piss himself than inconvenience them by visiting the toilet. If ever there was a game that should have widespread support for a boycott, it's this one.

If you can afford to and intended to go a few days ago then the only thing that has changed is we're out of the play-off push, I'm not so much having a go at those people, it's their money, just saying that if they felt so strongly why is it many intended to go to the game before our loss to Millwall? (I'm assuming they did and this has been started yesterday/today if not then I apologize.)
