Stuliasz Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 I know we had this at the third round but it's been narrowed down a bit now. For me it's still Liverpool, never been to Anfield and would love to go. I wouldn't fancy a lower league side, quite liked the concept of us being underdogs, seems to work in our favour. And the numbers for the draw which takes place at 1.30pm are... 1 West Bromwich Albion/Reading 2 Leyton Orient 3 Coventry 4 Wolves 5 Port Vale 6 Charlton 7 Torquay/Birmingham 8 Manchester City 9 Newcastle United 10 Liverpool 11 Preston North End 12 Stoke City/Tamworth 13 Derby County 14 Southampton 15 Blackburn 16 Arsenal 17 Brentford 18 West Ham 19 Portsmouth 20 Wigan/Leeds United 21 Sunderland 22 Chelsea 23 Cheltenham Town/Chester City 24 Leicester 25 Bolton Wanderers 26 Colchester 27 Nuneaton Borough/Middlesbrough 28 Aston Villa 29 Barnsley/Walsall 30 Burton/Manchester United 31 Crystal Palace 32 Millwall/Everton
drew Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool at home for attendance reasons and glamour. Barnsley/Wallsall or Colchester to progress.
Fox in a Box Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 2 Leyton Orient 9 Newcastle United 10 Liverpool 13 Derby County 16 Arsenal 22 Chelsea 23 Cheltenham Town/Chester City 24 Leicester 26 Colchester 30 Burton/Manchester United Any of the following but derby at home would be nice!
ithuriel Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 man u at home. they are vulnerable at the moment and would attract a big gate. possibly be televised again too. plus ive never seen leicester play man u believe it or not
breadandcheese Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Chelsea home Too right. Let's beat the so-called champions elect
Durnerz Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Has to be Liverpool away for me as well. My brothers a Liverpool fan and a member at Liverpool so if he could get tickets and same with me then it'd be an interesting afternoon to say the least. I went to Anfield for the Chelsea game last year and it was amazing, the atmosphere and the history of the place is brilliant.
Frenzied Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Any lower division team at home, then meet the big boys it later rounds.

Lichfieldfox. Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Either Sunderland at home cos we'll thrash them, a local Derby at home, or a minnow anywhere or one of the big 4 away. We won 3-2,3-2 we won 3-2,3-2 we won 3-2 and I was there to see us win 3-2
Ric Flair Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Whoever said Arsenal away I think that would be class aswell, especially if they let us play Smith. A nice trip down to London and a night on the tear after.
Head Honcho Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Southampton at home, not bad. Well happy with that
