knowitall Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Leicester's first team squad will be going to either Slovakia or Slovenia next week as a bonding mission. It is a week outing with no games arramged.

Good to hear, it'sa good idea aslong as it's planned well this could help start to build a good team spirit in which the players are going to work hard for each other.
davieG Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 It will be interesting to see who's considered first team?
Guest Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 It's hardly a world tour It's the only way we'll be getting into Europe these days.
demon_dog Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Must be on one of those free flight offers with Ryan Air then. :w00t:
MC Prussian Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Leicester's first team squad will be going to either Slovakia or Slovenia next week as a bonding mission. It is a week outing with no games arramged. Slovakia? Doubt it. Not really living up to European standards, poor country with a rugged landscape. I can't see a reason to visit Slovakia unless Pearson wants to push them to the brink of starvation or driving them out to a remote place in the countryside, leaving them all alone in the wild so that they'll have to find their way back to the hotel (speaking of team-building measures). Slovenia? Nice place. I'd prefer them going down there. But one thing I still don't understand: Why not coming to Switzerland instead?
Guest Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Better than Scotland Scotland is a great place, I'll have you know.
Unabomber Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Scotland is a great place, I'll have you know. But a "World Tour" is better
Guest Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 But a "World Tour" is better That would depend. If it was a world tour, incorporating the sights of Baghdad, Kabul and Harare, I would be worried!
Unabomber Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 That would depend. If it was a world tour, incorporating the sights of Baghdad, Kabul and Harare, I would be worried! Good point maybe Scotland was the better option
mmarkie Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Leicester's first team squad will be going to either Slovakia or Slovenia next week as a bonding mission. It is a week outing with no games arramged. Any news on anymore transfers coming in and about this Aleksandar Tunchev?
Glenfield Fox Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Following relegation I'd heard they were all going to some sort of military boot camp, or did I hear that wrong ?
Jonezy Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Better get most of the transfer dealings done by then.... I'm still disappointed that the exodus has stalled. Maybe their couldn't cancel Ollie's boot camp, and they are to spend a week in some remote rural area in eastern Europe doing all sorts of primitive team building drills.....
iancognito Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Slovenia? Why so far? Skeggy's been lovely this week. A few ice creams and games of frisbee and they'll all be as happy as a pig in shit.
AmericanScott Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Slovenia? Why so far? Skeggy's been lovely this week. A few ice creams and games of frisbee and they'll all be as happy as a pig in shit. That made me laugh in such a down time for me. Thanks a lot!
Webbo Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 That would depend. If it was a world tour, incorporating the sights of Baghdad, Kabul and Harare, I would be worried! Good point maybe Scotland was the better option Ever been to Glasgow?
Joe. Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 1. It's clearly not a world tour. 2. Why Slovakia/Slovenia if there's no games arranged?
Daggers Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 2. Why Slovakia/Slovenia if there's no games arranged? Maybe every checkout assistant was told a different Eastern block country in the hope to flush out the Club Shop mole.
Jack Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 Slovakia or Slovenia is a bit of a weird choice to go especially considering that there is no games.
