Kilworthfox Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 We've had more keepers this season than we had managers last season He used to play for Millwall! Wonder what the odd on him scoring are?
Corky Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Bunn lasted three matches. So did Stockdale. Expect Warner to leave after Peterborough.
Fox Genius Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 I make it seven: Martin henderson Petney Cisak Bunn Stockdale Warner ... or am I wrong?

MC Prussian Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Liverpool loanee Dave Martin began the campaign as City's number one before Paul Henderson took over in November. Martin then came back in when Henderson injured his groin, but he himself was forced out of action during the Swindon Town clash in February. Youngster Carl Pentney came off the bench as his replacement, before Mark Bunn was brought in on loan from Blackburn Rovers. But injury to Paul Robinson back at Ewood Park meant that Sam Allardyce was forced to recall the former Northampton man, and City went back in to the market to recruit Dave Stockdale from Fulham. However, Stockdale picked up a shoulder injury at Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday night, and Pearson has again moved quickly to bring in a replacement. I'd love to make a movie about this... What an incredible script. What a drama, what tension. Imagine!!!

Lillehamring Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 I'd love to make a movie about this... What an incredible script. What a drama, what tension. Imagine!!! I beleive Stallone has experience of playing goalkeepers in movies in fact maybe, with some clever make up, he could play all seven (six)!!!
Milky Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 He was known as "Trigger" (dumb) and "Bonus" (because he never played but picked up team bonuses) at Liverpool.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 I remember him being in goal for Fulham in the Fa Cup a few seasons ago at Craven Cottage. Turning around in amazement at the sheer volume of "Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Your Shit ahhhhhhhhh". He stood there for a good 5 minutes in bewilderment.
Fox92 Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Not sure about him, although he did play for Millwall as someone mentoned so...
Mack Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 He is a poor man's David James. Capable of outstanding reflex saves but at the same time very capable of some absolute howlers.
New England Fox Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Petney must be crying in a corner somewhere right about now.
lildave3 Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Bloody hell, another one! Still, wasn't too impressed with Stockdale so perhaps it isn't a bad thing.
Scow Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Pearson just keeps on pulling them out - another good signing.
RowlattsFox Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 From what I've seen of him over the years, he seems to be capable of brilliance and also prone to some real howlers, lets hope tomorrow is a good day for him. Not confident about this.
Father Ted Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 He is a poor man's David James.Capable of outstanding reflex saves but at the same time very capable of some absolute howlers. Spot on.
Thracian Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 Petney must be crying in a corner somewhere right about now. It certainly doesn't show much confidence in Pentney. Nor in Logan who has played perfectly okay for the first team on occasions and when it was pretty important as we edged towards relegation two seasons back. It all seems more like spin the bottle than anything else and the phrase "rent-a-crowd" is becoming ever more appropriate, not that I'm surprised.
