Service has been non existent but his touches and basic passing have been so poor.

Thoroughly surprised how long it took him to finally find a club, especially ending up at a side as poor as Huddersfield. Listening to him on the beautiful game podcast a couple of weeks ago, we offered him another contract but he knew he wasn’t going to play ahead of Ricardo and wanted first team football as he edges towards the back end of his career, it sounded to me like he regrets that decision now and was surprised at the lack of interest in him. He could easily do a job still for most prem teams, I would of thought he walked straight into atleast 5 or 6 sides, and could of been invaluable at sides like Villa or Norwich with their lack of premier league experience.

Struggling to get up for this with our league form and performances being so poor. It would just about sum things up right now if we finally make it to Wembley and we can’t even attend I do think we’ll see a more positive performance from us though, with Chelsea coming here to try and win, it will leave spaces for an open, end to end game.

I predicted us 7th before the season started, so for me anything higher would of been a great season / achievement, but with the way we played up until early December, if we blow this now with only 9 games to go (post COVID) and with the healthy gap we had to 5th place, I’ll be very disappointed.

I was thinking this to myself during the game yesterday. He talks a very good game, he’s one of the media’s darlings, but how he watched that game yesterday and didn’t feel the need to make a substitution before 70 minutes genuinely worries me, in fact the team selection overall did!

Same old story, earns his place in the side on merit and then fails to deliver. (I’m thinking back to Man U away too). I thought he was one of our better performers today but I have no idea what position he was playing and what system we were playing!

I’m just really struggling to see the game plan / tactics. It’s just pass, pass, pass, pass with no purpose.

Absolutely pathetic performance, what even is our game plan or tactics? We just pass sideways, backwards, sideways, the odd triangle which results in going backwards again anyway. We’ve got no creativity, nobody brave enough to have a go or beat their man, nobody to take the game by the scruff of the neck and grab us a result from nowhere. Getting sick to death at how stubborn Rodgers has been after this lockdown, only 3 subs against Watford and left the subs far to late again today to make any real impact, we even waited for Brighton to make the first move which was 3 attacking changes! The starting XI today was just laughable.

Awaits pelters, but I actually much prefer our Adidas kits with Blue & Gold compared to Blue & White. I think this seasons Blue & Gold kit is head and shoulders above our first Blue & White Adidas one, likewise with those concept designs too.

Does anyone have any idea how it works in relation to purchasing cup / away tickets separate? I pay for my own season ticket via direct debit, but a friend of mine purchased away tickets for Watford / Chelsea (H) in a group with all the account linked via his card / online account?

Have been enjoying these podcasts on my hourly bike ride, so keep them coming! I’m looking forwards to Ian Walker & Richie Wellens. Would be really interesting to finish each podcast with the guests best LCFC XI or maybe 5 a side team along with some quick fire questions such as best trainer, worst trainer etc similar to the soccer am teammates feature. Apologies if it’s already been covered but where would we stand should UEFA suspend the Champions League & Europa League for the rest of this season? Would we be guaranteed a spot for next season should we finish third or will the same teams as this seasons competitions keep their place? Would be harsh on us, but also harsh on say a Wolves should they not make a Europa League spot this season but have a genuine chance of winning it this season.....
