Today's attendance? In reality: around 13000 According to the club: about twice as many

Mukasa must have a clause that dictates he has to play X amount of games. No other explanation possible. BDCR starting again, as do Fatawu, Winks, Skipp, Daka. All being rewarded again for their terrific contributions in recent weeks. Deary me. Choudhury as captain. Should've never be nominated for vice-captain in the first place. Has as much influence in the dressing room as a tablespoon. This is the farewell we didn't deserve. What a diabolical squad (with a few exceptions).

What are the chances of one of the kits featuring PINK again?

Borussia Mönchengladbach's "King 26" shirt by Puma:

Why can't Adidas make a decent kit for us for a change? I miss the Puma days. Admiral are still around, btw. And finally get rid of that vile shirt sponsor. I've had enough.

Maybe Leesoh and Kateh want to have me on at some point next season. Can't have an all-female podcast... ... a sexist would say.

"A woodlouse would do a better job than Jon Rudkin." Well, there you have it.

MK Dons again. Oh dear. Hoping for Notts County to get promoted. Cambridge or Swindon would be interesting. I suppose Notts will be the derby of the season. Followed by Burton, Peterborough and Mansfield. No real rivalries. Sad.
-
Lascelles is probably one of the last CBs or defenders that would get stick from me. Faes and Okoli are the first ones I'd mention, followed by Ricardo, Nelson and Thomas. Kristiansen's been out injured for most part. Vestergaard has been rather good this season, despite his age and limitations.

"If you want to protest, go ahead. The REAL fans will remember how we were before King Power bought us. Please stop trying to force your negative and hostile actions onto others. Let the real fans support their club. Top and his father have brought more to this club than anyone else. Give them a chance to sort this out." I'm sorry, Nige. Top has had years to "sort it out", and has failed miserably. We've given them enough chances since the first relegation from the Premier League. Most of the fans protesting or boycotting have actually seen us pre-2011. And we do remember those days, quite vividly. If you want to be shielded from "negative and hostile" actions, why do you bother going to matches, anyway? At any given week, something bad or embarrassing can happen in the crowd. Football stadiums aren't "safe spaces" per se.

We‘re going to lose regardless, as Millwall will put pressure on in order to keep the hopes up for automatic promotion. 3-1 to the visitors.

Using your logic (and of course, not just yours), applauding and cheering on players automatically means they play better. Which is a fallacy in itself. It was about time that these players realize what they've "achieved". And that fans aren't that gullible and naively super-supportive all the time. If you can't take criticism as a football player, you better seek a career elsewhere. For the money these players earn (in a very loose sense), they've been extremely cuddled and shielded from negative feedback in the past few years. Booing is part of receiving a healthy dose of reality.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread

So, it's official: Liam Rosenior is another poor manager. And Chelsea were utterly stupid to appoint him in the first place. Recent league results were appalling. Guy was clearly out of his league, literally. -
Anybody clapping the team after the final whistle deserves a lifelong stadium ban.

He's too lightweight and caught out of position too often for a left-back. I can see him contributing more up front.
-
He's been involved in twice as many goals this season (6) than Mavididi (3). In short: Thomas is more of a winger than Mavididi.
-
Convert him into a left winger. Problem solved.

Note that Allardyce didn't want to shake Rudkin's hand at the end.

This is going to be fun. More boos than people in the stadium. More security for the directors' box.. Protests inside and outside of the stadium. Confrontations with the Leicester players in the parking lot. Maybe the odd foul tomato here and there. Background music: Andrea Bocelli with "Nessun' dorma" (Nobody Sleeps). Bring it on.

LCFC 2-2 Hull, post-match thread
MC Prussian replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
There's no hurt. There's little anger. Many of us have seen us getting relegated to League One before, it's a déjà-vu. The most frustrating part is the amount of money spent on this disaster of a squad. £100m upwards on absolute dross. Can't wait to wave most of them goodbye forever. It'll probably the easiest away win for your lot all season. You'll get an early goal, and we'll offer little resistance from thereon. Most of our (senior) players haven't turned up so far, they chose – for the lack of a better term – to just tag along. Because they face no consequences. -
