  1. Colby Bishop and Josh Knight from Portsmouth
  2. The work starts now πŸ’ͺ. Today we can confirm the club will be working hard to secure our place in the Championship for the 2027/28 season #FoxesForward
  3. That describes both of them pretty much, a short stint at FD and then being fast tracked to CEO is pretty curious
  4. We would never appoint anybody doing a sterling job at say Lincoln, always the downwardly mobile
  5. In the release about the new structure it was confirmed 'Monica' would be staying on. Good old gravy train at Leicester. Wonder what Apichet has siphoned off in 16 years despite adding nothing at all
  6. Company Retreat the follow on from Jury Duty was just as good. Light-hearted TV that won't fail to make you smile. Watch the original (Prime) if you haven't. Everybody is an actor apart from the one guy who earnestly thinks he's doing juror service.
  7. Say McCarron is on 200k p/a (could be more), Rudkin gets an additional 100k, 'Monica' is on 150k on an 'interim' basis, Davies get bumped up by 150k, We've added one net permanent new employee and it's possibly costing us 600k p/a! We need to adopt a horribe, hard-nosed bean counter mentality right now and we're carrying on as normal with clappers, flamethrowers, beer giveaways and so on. Belvoir Drive needs to be mothballed, cut the stewarding and hospitality numbers, we have to scrimp no before it's too late. Top will probably end up frittering away all the family money, he's taken us from what, a peak value of Β£500m down to teetering on administration?

  9. I think the FD being promoted makes these cuts less likely to happen. He’s another part of the furniture been around for years, knows too many people and too engrained in the culture. That role needed a fresh pair of eyes to make unsentimental hard businesses decisions.
  10. It's beyond just a DoF, even if we had one that got 100% right (never going to happen) there just isn't enough the accountability from the owner. For clubs to be successful you need alignment between different functions and before that you need an owner that gives a shit, gets the right people in and drives results. FSG at Liverpool aren't football experts but they appoint people who are and hold their feet to the fire. Bill Foley the same at Bournemouth.
  11. It’s beyond one player. We might have stayed up in 22/23 but we’d have gone down the following year anyway
  12. I knew our fanbase was irredeemably happy clappy at that. I was apoplectic and everybody else was all enjoy-the-ride
  13. We need free transfers, some experience and a different option up top. 8 goals in 16 starts (18 nineties) for this absolutely crap Northamption side this season. Decent record last season as well. Even has about 11 goals in his last 30 Championship nineties for rubbish Hull and Rotherham teams. We really absolutely could do worse than a one year deal
  14. God it's depressing we're here but we should be all over Tom Eaves on a free as a 2nd/3rd choice striker. Awkward target man, great L1 record, would have a relationship with Jake Evans already.
  15. Birmingham lost 34m in League 1 last season on a 39m wage bill and 26m in other costs. In our last Championship season our wage bill was 107m and we had 37.5m in other costs. Even if our wage bill is only 40m, which it won't be, and we've already advanced our PP (45m-ish) with Macquarie then we're going to run out of money very quickly.
  16. We can't assume that all the talented young players will be off. We need to actually field a team Page, Braybrooke, Alves etc will be playing for us. Monga and Nelson probably not.
  17. Talking to reasonable Forest fans is sort of nightmare. Remember chatting to a lad who really didn't rate Cooper and admitted he didn't like Leicester and it was a big game for them - I had nowhere to go in that conversation, he wasn't supposed to agree with me
  18. Being on the bench, getting limited minutes and not playing for the U21s is the worst thing for Monga and Page's development - so of course that's what we're doing. We built the jet engine with Seagrave but we use wooden propellers on the plane.
  19. We don't have a board in the usual sense and at least nominally Rudkin wasn't on it until his recent promotion. Top, Liu Shilai, Apichet, 'Monica", Herrilhy, Alan Dawson (Ops director), Russel Jones (new commercial director), Tony Kavanagh (Associate Director of Training Ground Operations - seems odd to me), Sam Chambers (Associate Director Of Content, Marketing & Digital).
  20. Plenty of people on here defended it as "protecting his value" () just like some did with Vestergaard and Choudhury's deals.
  21. It's such a relief when you talk to a fan of another club and they're not reflexively pro our ownership.
  22. We only win games when we score one or two screamers and they've stopped going in. We can't keep a clean sheet.
  23. Only 53 points we’ll see this season is on Choudhury’s driving license
  24. Not directly but ban activity picks up after the more direct banners usually
  25. Had a nice pint of London Prode in the Queens Arms, Leire earlier. Was meant to go to the Dunton Bassett arms but got catfished by their opening hours, shame as it’s a looker. Takes my Leics total up to 281/770ish
