I was half cut but he was impressive today I thought, even discounting the goal.

When you sign two players like Ayew and BDCR, youβre never getting their best. You can give them time but unfortunately their shelf life is dwindling -
The water is shit here

Rewatched S1 of Fargo as my girlfriend hadn't seen it. Finally got around to S2 and it's fantastic, Kirsten Dunst plays Peggy so well and the supporting cast are all rock solid. One of the best written shows I think.

Wells-Next-The-Sea if you havenβt been, itβs like going back 15 years in a nice way. Very charming and the people are friendly.
-
If nothing is his fault maybe he should clear the incompetence out from elsewhere. Oh wait that wonβt happen either. Weβll continue to get bad outputs whilst the incompetent staff are still in place.
-
Even if heβd scored 10 last season itβd be a bad signing at that price and presumably a three year deal. The Bertrand signing should put us off the PL experience (+wage) trap for years. Thereβs lots of PL experience in the squad already. Β£30m+ on Skipp and Ayew is just ignorance - weβve still never signed a first team player directly from South America. Imagine what Β£33m could get us? In all likelihood he starts fewer than 10 pl games this season and Iβd be surprised if he starts more than 25 in total for the club. When/if we go down all of sudden heβs a pretty expensive and ineffectual back up.

-
Yeah they are weirdly inconsistent, Iheanacho was listed as 6'1 for quite some time too when he's not that tall. but Justin looks like he's more 5'10 - 5'11 to me. (Hard to find a good photo where everybody is standing up straight)

Kristiansen is 5'11 and Justin is 5'10?

The culture sounds absolutely rancid at the club. Paranoid and delusional
-
Normally I'm pretty stoic about the club despite all my moaning but this is thoroughly dispiriting. You'd think we might learn - sometimes - but no, we don't.

Of the ones not already mentioned, King vs West Ham in 14/15 - probably the one goal that started it all off. I wasnβt there because I was working as a waiter at the Grey Lady, Tottenham away in 15/16 so it was fraught. I was nervously bugging the potwasher for updates, when he finally said Huth had scored it just made me believe we just might do it
-
Very good point. Itβs probably a case by case basis but sometimes 5 PL/Ch starts and regular 20 minutes cameos for someone like Braybrooke could be better than playing 35 games in an attritional League One season.
-
It was a brief cameo in frankly what was quite a bizarre game - itβs not that telling. From his much more comprehensive amount of Championship minutes he looked a physically capable grafter with good timing off the ball. In possession heβs limited, I canβt recall him playing many positive passes so heβs uncreative and heβs a bit awkward at dribbling. That skillset translates to being Championship standard in my opinion, Iβd love him to prove me wrong but creativity isnβt something players add to their game.
-
I don't think he'll make it as PL player, however if he kicks on after a good loan he could be a useful squad player or we sell him for a decent fee. Seems like great lad and his attitude is first class, nice to have players that care.

No not really, you just stick out being wordly having travelled/lived/worked well across different places. Understanding Cyrillic text (I think? Although not helped you today ) is cool too

Buonanotte is positive, heβll be key this season. -
What a privilege it is every time he scores. He always ekes out just a bit more, season after season. If he somehow keeps us up the season he turns 38 it might just be one of his best achievements.
