  1. 3 wins since the club told its staff they weren’t going to be paid on their expected December pay date Some ****ing karma that
  2. The reason Aiyawatt used the term ‘bad cop’ in reference to Rudkin must be because Jon used the term. Why would a Thai businessman use a western term that to describe the situation? Another perfect example of their relationship
  3. Timing is incredibly off. The date should have been put in place months ago
  4. Deeney virtually gave this away on his rant about LCFC Paramount Plus over Easter, he’s been asked to play for the opposition
  5. Mentioned in passing they had an idea for an event to the FT March time ish. No details other than that were mentioned to really give an opinion
  6. Went Maddens, which I was a big fan of and it was just building in there because 10pm music was on. But my Dad wanted out by that point. I couldn’t get in the Spaniard either.
  7. The only game Gary Rowett won, Harry Winks didn't start the game.......
  8. My Dad has decided enough's enough. Too frustrating, not enjoyable as result. Throw the kick-off times now stop him from doing other passions. We suspect we will be on at 12.30pm a fair few times as well.
  9. Four seasons, three relegations. Some going that.
  10. I followed LCFC because they were my local team but the main thing we had during my childhood was an underdog attitude. We'd always turn up to give everything and in the process, we'd occasionally beat a big club. That was the motto of the club which pre-dates anything King Power did and it was there with the fans. It's the nearest thing to the 'West Ham Way' we've got. Now we've completely lost that edge - that's unforgivable. That breaks for me the proper bond of expectation. The expectation that these players are willing to work hard for the shirt and the club. They don't care about you and the ignorance from the board suggests the same. Even the side what got relegated to League 1 still had some times that season proving people or winning big games. Lost to Chelsea in extra time back in October, we beat Barnsley away from home the week before to give ourselves a chance of staying up, or the 4-1 win at WBA. The year before another poor collection of players still gave two Premiership teams games in the Cups, won two huge games at the end of the season, unbeaten against Coventry too. There is absolutely zero of that at the moment. A win away at Derby is the high point of the season.
  11. Yes, but not for the reason he was any ****ing good. For the reason that a manager needs to be given time here to sort this ****ing squad out. We never have a manager for one more than one transfer window. I can imagine Marti saying to the recruitment staff 'striker January' else we would not sent Carranza back or given Antonio a trial or tried to line a loan deal for random signing from Sweden. What you had then was Rudders and Glover thinking they know what's best. Aribo and Richards a complete waste of time. Lascelles not far behind. Musaka would have worked with the right manager. Someone in the managerial role has to be allowed to be an architect - the greatest accidental decision that Vichai did was to avoid sacking Pearson with the Watford play off season, because after a loss at Easter at Oakwell, he weren't far off. A manager comes in works out the bad eggs, and then gets sacked. And the cycle starts again. Either way I think Cifuenties hasn't done his job prospects any harm getting sacked.
  12. A lot of people within the club have been completely fed up with the situation for a year. The penny has turned there for certain. Rudkin turning up to pose with Page is exactly the sort of shit which annoys some of the staff. Still some bury their heads in the sand (on both sides, club staff & fans) but there will be departures out of their own self respect despite being City fans.
  13. Heard a rumour that Rowett communicated to the Top & Rudkin he has no intention of management beyond this season at Leicester or anywhere else. Which explains an awful lot. But for most clubs you'd think they be sounding out managers now given Top's disappearance that's most certainly not the case.
  14. The Holy Trinity of Stout across 8 pubs in Belfast. The Crown and Duke of York are stunning pubs but absolutely packed out. You'd do well to ever get a booth at the Crown. So my favourite was actually Bittles Bar and Kelly's Cellar. The latter was packed but it's an incredibly old building. The Sunflower is absolutely worth visiting as well. Rather unsurprisingly beer there was at least a pound cheaper per pint - obvious reasons about brewing in Ireland and the travel but even a very decent pub I managed to get a pint of Guinness for £4.50
  15. Also to add, last year’s survey got criticised in some quarters that it was leading. So those on the board in control of the survey, put it though 3 people with experience in the field. Those try and avoid accusation of tone & bias
  16. Yeah the Oval is incredible. Completely matched my expectations. However, we were very lucky (and given the 8 hour delay on Thursday for the flight over would have been in keeping), it was effectively a title decider and unbeknown to me, it was sold out. Thankfully a turnstile operator took pity on us and let us in for free. They only have a safety certificate for so many. Despite their Green colour, Glentoran is in a protestant area. Rangers stuff and Union Jacks everywhere. Game was bloody terrible but pretty wins Larne the league without a massive shock result on the final day. Cliftonville, in North Belfast, Catholic area. An absolutely wreck of a main stand. In amongst the terraces and then two modern stands behind either goal. Another bad game of football but didnt' really matter, proper charm with a social club within the main stand. Love the name 'Solitude'. If you have any interest in groundhopping, I'd say the Oval is a must. But try to aim for a big game, European fixture or the derby against Linfield, so the terraces are busier and people are on the grass bank.
  17. I did Belfast Victoria parkrun on Saturday. Supposedly the quickest and easiest park run in the UK. And I concur. Three laps of the flattest. Well surfaced. My quickest 5k of the year by some distance
  18. I’m interested to see where they go with this. Their prices are too high but they have frozen the season tickets. So if they lower the matchday prices then season ticket holder will rightly kick off
  19. Called out Rudkin last year on his pod
  20. The suspended player played in 10 games and the maximum points deduction is 12. For some reason the league decided 9.
  21. I'll have a look. Most of my drink spots will be craft beer though. The market in the centre is superb. One of the best meals we had was just a random lunch deal. Planning on ticking off the Mestalla whilst I can myself.
  22. Because they keep deciding to go down the corporate route on the catering package which locks out any independent traders. When questioned at the FCC, apparently they don't get enough of a footfall or trade to hit the figures needed for the catering corporate provider to put it out to independent traders (part of this reason is because the capacity number allowed for the Fanzone is so small). Interestingly down Burnmoor Street, there is an independent place at St Mary Works which has started doing hot dogs and sub rolls which look a complete level beyond what's at the ground.
  23. Except it won’t be. If you look at Cardiff, I’d expect 75% of our Saturday games to be at 1230
  24. It will and he supposedly has no interest regardless of circumstance to carry on after this season with Leicester or anybody
  25. They won't sack Rowett - they let RVN run into the late summer and he had a multi-year deal. Rowett is here till the end of the season, so why spend the money making a small pay off? Particularly if the rumour I heard about him saying this is his last managerial job is true.
