  1. Anstey 2 Quorn 3 A right ding dong. Quorn 2 up and cruising despite 6 first teamers out with some dual reg filling in the gaps. Anstey get it back to 2-2 with three to play. Equaliser is a right strike of fortune. Quorn nick it last minute and continue their excellent season. Probably deserved it in my opinion Nearly 600 there. Nomads ground a lot better now they’ve changed the layout slightly. Plenty of needle too on a derby becoming a bit tasty
  2. Literally against the rules now. And I think half of the time when you take away hire of venue, increased staffing costs, it’s actually not that much of a benefit
  3. Just as those more experienced on Parkrun have previously said Watermead is very quick. I got 24 zip today somehow. I would love a tilt around there in3 to 4 months time
  4. I did another double today 1pm - Royston 3 Sudbury 0 Sometimes you have these stinking games (well the start of it) which make me wonder why I bother. For twenty minutes it was mindless time wasting and launch it football. Thankfully Royston realised they were a lot better than Sudbury and ran them ragged. Left at 75 mins to make 3pm - Cambridge City 3 Heybridge Swifts 2 City have finally moved to their new ground and whilst the clubhouse isn’t fitted out yet, it’s an excellent ground. Treated to a back and forth game, more quality than the Step 3 from earlier. City after being tenants at St Ives and Histon looked to be working really had getting their own fanbase. Over 800 there today - helped by no United game but they would be very welcome at Step 3. They’ve notably improved since moving in
  5. I’m careful to be too critical because it’s something that I’ve moaned that the club desperately needed to implement and I haven’t tried myself. However my comment from walking past it last week was that it was presented awfully and looked like the family fun day from Phoenix Nights. Scaffold and canopy galore
  6. Top it off the views at Tamworth with a big crowd are utterly awful as well
  7. Good example of xG without context. Arsenal made 4.6 cos they were 2-2 with minutes to play. At 1-0, Arsenal can play at a certain pace to their own preference
  8. Anyone at a loose end during crimbo limbo. Monday 30th - Nomads v Quorn
  9. Palace and Everton can get dragged into this as well
  10. That you have other supporters in our ends gives all the ammo needed to insist on collection / digital away tickets
  11. The term free hit is nonsense agreed. But the over reaction to a result and performance I’ve seen repeatedly by a Leicester City team at Anfield with a better squad and manager is a touch tiring. Id recommend everyone to just recognise we are shit and it helps to avoid headloss
  12. Was just reading about this. Read a good match report which said that Liverpool were slightly tactically tricked in the first half. We allowed them room which made do more crosses than other time this season. First aide to concede more space and try to avoid the basketball they profit it in
  13. Ahh yes before the current modern PL bubble.
  14. Folk have quickly forgotten the two defeats against Man U for example
  15. Some don’t see it but Soumare is a continued disaster defensively. He can’t track a run or anything made behind him
  16. Wouldn’t even compare the two about Cooper and Ruud. You’ll see about the former manager over time
  17. It’s almost like you need a decent Director of Football to spot this
  18. We are tragic to watch full stop. But we’ve been tragic to watch at Liverpool even when we won the league. It’s all the other shite turned out this season where the problem lies
  19. Ahh this was a fun night back in October, debating with these views
  20. Soumare on that goal. What a lazy plonker
  21. Yeah never thought I’d see the day where Aussies look the ‘bigger man’
  22. Lakenheath and then hopped over to a watch a wretched goalless draw between Mildenhall & Bury. It was a Suffolk village btw
  23. 11am kick offs in Eastern Counties League. This Norfolk village feels like it could be in Wales. The ground is in a former Village, the mist and perma-drizzle in situ. The pitch is so heavy and will make most feel like they are playing two games. And yet these lads are playing again on 28th. Manager imposed a booze ban supposedly
