  1. But there’s a decent argument to say their team was promoted off four months good form and then their signings last summer were hardly top Championship quality. Players like Kaminski, Chong, Andersen, Brown were all mid table Championship. Nakamba one of the few with a PL record. Giles who had done well in the championship was sold in January.
  2. Naaa. Not enough consistent footfall and not big enough
  3. Fulham wanted to renew his deal for two years but he wanted more contract length.
  4. A lot of clubs have taken to doing video updates or briefings on the how and why of their decision making. I’ll try to find an example. EDIT: https://strettynews.com/2024/01/15/sir-jim-ratcliffe-holds-first-meeting-with-manchester-united-fan-group/amp/ Ratcliffe at Man U met with MUST back on January 2024, albeit I suspect that’s soured Equally even someone like Leicester Tigers are having a Q & A session with their board in the next couple of weeks
  5. Can only happen if people step forward to be on the board. We are apathetic as a fan base on so many levels. Btw I know have skin in the game on this. But I think there’s a very awkward question that LCFC fans have to ask themselves and I include those who are angry now and angry before. Have we really done enough to mobilise as a fanbase in terms of getting fans opinions heard? For me, we haven’t because we’ve been blinded by the success where the club began to inch away at the various areas they could monetise. So I find the finger pointing at various of the fanbase or groups or whatever, basically hollow.
  6. Re: Trust and Fan Groups I don’t think it’s any great secret that anyone in conversations with the club whether that be in a FCC meeting or similar mentions the club performances, it’s often answered with ā€˜that’s Rudkin and Top’s domain’, so we aren’t the people to ask. That’s why the fans to make their voice are in the position about misperforming of the football side of the business are having to resort to these methods.
  7. Leamington 0 Brackley 2. Att 1108. Very assured performance by Brackley. Only issue was that Kiddy and Scunny were even better in their games. So it rolls over to next week with the heavy expectation Kiddy win it at Southport
  8. Well they did including Fulham but we were willing to give three years cos we have shit for brains
  9. The one which had him scoring 7 goals last season for Fulham. Similar with Edouard, a decent record last season with Palace but we’ve done something there which in other businesses would be considered a Ponzi scheme
  10. We are ****ed aren’t we? It’s a dilemma that’s often swam in my mind that it’s not the club I supported any more and rather than me leaving the club, it’s the club that’s left me
  11. Fair play to UFS today for choosing times to keep it quiet really highlighted the void. I have to say that by Liverpool was one of the worst ends you could combine given their situation. Cruising to the league title, bank holiday Sunday in decent weather, 3k allocation and so so so quiet. I’ve been careful to be part of the England football is dead. But it’s dead ro what we remember it
  12. Not even competitive this season and still there are supporters to zero change and keeping it as it is That was incredible bizarre afternoon in a stadium where at least 30% either supporting the opposition or on a day trip
  13. Ahhh perfect description of Aiyawatt’s behaviour over last three years
  14. Went Lincoln United yesterday - had to play 5th place Heanor and could have won the title (UCL North) but its a three way chase for title. Nearly 700. Really novel place for a ground - off the back of 1960s council estate and then there was this beautiful cricket pitch/club house with a football ground next to it. Won 3-1 but they were very nervous at 60 mins when level. Thought they'd thrown it away. In the end it was Eastwood and Bourne hanging on elsewhere to make sure it went to the last day. Hilarious Lincoln can win the title at Skegness tomorrow....what a brilliant place to win the title at!
  15. People talking we didn’t see Nelson play very well in a handful of games for last season against Championship opposition for us last season
  16. Didn’t get chance but read of the Strugglers which is quite apt considering it’s up the hill towards the Castle. Probably do a Lincoln City game. Been a long time since when went Sincil Bank
  17. A good case why it’s important to be in the ground if people wish to make their opinion heard. When I spoke to supporters from abroad over the last couple of weeks, they were surprised by boycotting tactics
  18. If you park the survey to aside, last season 16k out of 22k wanted a physical card over digital. Within that 10k paid £25.
  19. Yeah some of the better organised ones have it. Or a pacer. @Ric Flair smashed his 5k record today with a sub 23
  20. In Lincoln today and I’m being lazy. Anyone got a couple of pubs they can recommend? I’m driving
  21. Very happy to read I've been successful in the safe standing ballot
  22. Central Stockholm you have no issue at all. Zero pretty crime. Literally mad how such a large city was free of chaos. It was only mentioned the very northern parts of Stockholm has issues. As a tourist you visit south (Sodermalm - lively for restaurants and bars, no sign of any trouble) and then central/east - Old Town & Djurgarden It was more at least three times stories of gang culture were brought up but equally they mentioned how well protected most kids were, almost too gullible or protective. They were keen to ask how the UK is as they fear the same societal problems
  23. Dare I say it I was actually happy for Ange yesterday
  24. Be incredible that. Brilliant stadium and a great location
  25. Tromso have only just been back promoted - they are Bodo’s nearest opposition. I think it’s a stretch to call them one of Norways biggest teams. They hadn’t won a league title until five years ago. Rosenborg are the traditional big boys with the Oslo clubs repeatedly underachieving If you didn’t want a second flight, it was something like a 19 hour train ride from Oslo
