  1. I see pistachio based thing, I eat pistachio based thing.
  2. 7pm Sunday is a shitshow.
  3. It's annoying you can't answer unless you're a member. I don't go very often these days and usually get tickets via my old man or mates who are ST holders. I know my stake is far smaller than others but it's still my club, bit of a shame those who don't want to pay for the membership for the sake of a few games a year can't vote. I'm sure there are plenty others like me.
  4. No words will ever do the bloke justice.
  5. Alright Sigmund. A behavioural sign of the weak 😅
  6. It's funny because of who it is but from a fan perspective it's awful. The gall of the that cvnt to remove concessions and talk about needing money after the year they've had and money they've spent on ETH, Ashworth and Amorim is disgraceful. These pricks are fcuking insatiable and continue to tear the game away from us.
  7. Low key bonus of Christmas time is there being dark stuff on tap more often. Still not enough about for my liking mind.
  8. You're only saying that because Oz is a lot closer to you...
  9. I'm no fan of religion but this is simply your projection of what it means to others.
  10. More about fans travelling than anything I'd expect, it is pretty bad up here. Most of Wales has red weather warnings and I've seen photos of fallen trees and part of a pier falling into the sea. Not the worst weather in the world but equally more than "a bit of wind".
  11. I agree with your last point but water regulation in the UK is certainly one area in the UK where we are being failed, and it's a pretty fundamental one at that.
  12. The King has returned. Welcome home 💙
  13. Walshie clearly approved of what he saw..
  14. Unless he was clearly offside and he knew he was, why wouldn't he play on? If you're not sure play to the whistle.
  15. At our lowest points I think what is really important is trying to focus on the now and taking baby steps. Focus on the washing up, and then making the dinner, then going for a walk, then whatever you might be watching or reading. I spend way too much time overthinking but all that we can really do is take action in the present and try and be more in the moment. Thinking too big picture, especially in times of need, I find often ends up in a negative thought spiral that catastrophises everything and makes me feel worse. Whatever it is your doing, however small, just focus on it until the next thing you need to focus on. Step by step, you'll get through the day. Keep going bud, you're stronger than you think you are.
  16. I think your last sentence is a little hyperbolic. I don't think it is a stretch suggest there will be the odd case of abuse and I would share some reserves about us getting the legislation right. But with that said, I think your words infer that this was approved for cynical motivations when in fact it is the very opposite. This bill passing is about *trying* to be a more compassionate place, not about trying to kill off elderly or inferm. That this is a cross party issue as well I think bodes well for getting the mechanisms for this as well resolved as possible too. This is ultimately about trying to be more humane, not less.
  17. Just started watching Good Girls on Netflix. Good so far. Very easy to watch Christina Hendricks especially.
  18. Attendance 3142. Considering it's probably no more than half an hour drive from anywhere on the island and costs €15 I'm surprised it was so low.
  19. Malta vs Andorra yesterday. 0-0, a red card we've no idea for why, some poor finishing and beers in our seats. An experience at the very least.
  20. I think some of you would benefit from taking a break whilst internationals are on. Cooper isn't going anywhere. I would always prefer our club to be more loyal than less. Consistency is beneficial and I would rather give people the benefit of the doubt, but we are clearly overly loyal to a quite significant fault. I really struggle to see us sacking Cooper unless we're marooned in the bottom 3.
  21. Since my struggles I have paid quite a lot of attention to mental health and suicide awareness stuff online. I follow two people in particular who speak so well about their experiences of bereavement from suicide. Alice Hendy lost her younger brother Josh and has set up an incredible tech charity called R;pple that is saving lives by intercepting harmful searches online. Steve Phillip set up a charity called the Jordan Legacy after losing his son Jordan to suicide. They are both doing brilliant work and speak so movingly on the subject. I've always found that hearing from others who have experienced similar things to be really cathartic. first and foremost, it always makes me feel like I am not alone, which was probably the single biggest issue I had, and sometimes still do to a lesser extent. I'm not sure this will be any value to you Deb, but I just wanted to share something. All the best to you & the family.
  22. Saying "consistent with the characteristics of genocide" is an interesting turn of phrase.
  23. I generally do the same and it makes such a difference. Didn't have any water at a paid for work related do last week, had a glass of wine and a couple of shots as well and I was absolutely rotten Saturday morning even though I wasn't that drunk.
  24. Couple episodes left of the latest season of the Lincoln Lawyer. Great watch as per.
  25. Looking for a single, pick up at OT if anyone needs to shift one.
