Vestergaard vs Zaha, Edourd, and Ayew is worrying. Syoncu is quick but at the moment he’s as shit as anyone so if evans isn’t fit we’re fully ****ed. Evans isn’t quick or particularly mobile but he’s intelligent and experienced so he positions himself in an area where he doesn’t need to be. Syoncu looks an absolute shadow of his former self and Vestergaard looks like a player who came from a team that conceded 9 goals in a single game two back to back premier league seasons. I can’t remember the last time I felt this low about my team. I said we’d comfortably be at least 6th season but I’m changing that to 9th best case scenario. Palace 2-1 Leicester sadly. Glad I’ve got tickets 😂

This is getting worrying now. We started the season badly and I assumed we would snap out of it quickly but it’s October tomorrow and we look even worse than we did in the first 3 games.

Can’t believe anyone is calling for Vardy to be dropped. He’s bang in form and has had a week off.

I think I’ve shared this story before but it was well over 10 years ago now so it’s worth a repeat - We were playing Watford at home and I was sat in SK1 of the Walkers Stadium as it was then. We were in the championship under Holloway and going down, fast. The football was dross and the Watford fans were loudly singing “yellow army, yellow army” and in my 13/14 year old mind I misheard what they were chanting so I shouted back “Thierry Henry? He plays for arsenal”. I might have gotten away with it at times recently but in those days the stadium was half full and quiet so everyone in sk1 and possibly the whole kop heard and started laughing at me. I don’t even know how I got the two mixed up because as I sit here chanting “yellow army” and “Thierry Henry” they don’t even sound the same 😂😂😂 but I was probably the most entertaining aspect of that afternoon which says more about how crap we used to be than anything else.

Why are we crap again?

Stringer can make some dickish comments at times but he loves Leicester as much as we all do and his commentary voice for goals and generally exciting moments is phenomenal. I genuinely think he’s up there with the best for building excitement through the radio and giving the listener a picture of the action which is what he’s paid to do.

Well I’m glad I opted out of spending £16 on a ticket to watch this shit.

How can we be sat here after years of trials abroad followed by 3 seasons of VAR in this country and the people who are literally trained to get decisions right get them so very wrong. It took me, you and every other football fan seconds to realise that Brighton shouldn’t have had a penalty and that N’didi’s goal should have counted. Why can’t those idiots at Stockley Park get these decisions right? It’s their job, isn’t it? If I decide to be shit at my job tomorrow I’ll get pulled up on it but that bunch of jokers can be so incredibly abject without any repercussions. It’s just tragic. **** VAR.

What makes you think that? We’ve been top 4 for 93% of the last two seasons. We have a better squad now than we did then. We’ve made a good start in both of those seasons but finished badly. This season we’ve made an average to bad start so whose to say we don’t have a blinding end to the season and finish strongly? I think we’ll be fine.

We’ll be fine. It will come good and we’ll finish top 6. Don’t panic. This team has too much quality and BR is too good for it all to fall apart.

We were ok but we only really got going because we were all fuming with VAR and the ref. I just wish we could sing and chant from the first whistle and help to build the players in to the game. Having said that, they didn’t exactly give us much to cheer about for the first 55 minutes.

Shit. But the one positive I can draw is that we don’t have the worst home atmosphere in the league - Brighton fans were truly atrocious. Other than a couple of cries of “allllbiiooon” we didn’t hear a peep from them the whole game.

Don’t get me wrong their first goal was a shocking joke of a decision and our first disallowed goal should have stood. But that doesn’t excuse the awful decision to play an out of form no.10 on the wing and then watch on for 45 minutes whilst he barely spent any time out wide. I don’t know what BR is trying to do. I’m all for sticking with out of form players to try and regain their form/confidence but playing players who are out of form out of position is not the answer. In fact, it’s probably just dented Maddison’s confidence further. We always seem to play when we’ve already lost the game. We didn’t it at westham last season and again this and then again today. It’s easy to play when you’re already 2 down.
