Agree, never been a fan of the word 'fan'.

Loads, but all in the 60's & 70's. Pete Townshend, regularly, as our parents were best mates so I also met Keith Moon at a party at Pete Townshends house. My dad was in the entertainment business and I met Frankie Vaughan numerous times and every year in the late 60's early 70's he'd put a £1 on for me on City to win the cup, he was a nice bloke and loved his football. Ronnie Barker and Dave Allen also came to our house. I met Larry Grayson loads of times and went to his house in Nuneaton with my dad for tea. I worked in a shop in the early 70's and Joanna Lumley was a regular customer, she's absolutely fabulous! Michael Ben tine and Rod Hull were also regular customers, Rod was bonkers god bless him. In '77 I worked in a rock club and met Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious they were both down to earth, no pretentions and The Pistols were amazing live. I also met Gaye Advert (and fell in love with her) Elvis Costello and Gary Holton who was a great laugh. In 1978 I faded into obscurity and never met anyone famous ever again.

I feel pissed off for Papy, African Champion and selected for Team of the Tournament and can't make the Conference for a team that surrendered to NF!
