I've got a Logitech G29 just hooked onto my desk. Got a decent enough PC spec with a 3080 but processor/RAM is bottle necking that.. it's due a major upgrade in the next year or so. I have both PS5 and XSX. Been looking at Direct Drive as I think it will be quieter and a Playseat Trophy. Happy to spend the money as I do like to play but it's a bit of a faff setting up/dismantling all the time hence reason why I want to move to a dedicated set up.

What's the cheapest way of falling down this rabbit hole? I had one of those Logitech steering wheels but it was so damn loud, are the Fanatec quieter? And is it a must to have a racing seat to begin with?

Was listening to the F1 podcast, they said that development of new cars (may have been new regs) cannot start until beginning of 2025. So it may be that he can jump at the next manufacturer and hit the ground running.

Get a pretty decent VW Touareg 3 litre diesel V6 for that. Have you got any preferences? Personally I’ve not long bought a Mercedes C Class estate and I wouldn’t consider another. I’d lean on 3 Series estate or something.

Please could I ask for my own understanding, what are the reasons why you gamble? Do you find you do it because of depression so you're spiralling because of that or is it for other reasons?

To my knowledge, if I went digital only I wouldn't be able to loan my friend my ticket so he can take his lad in the event of me not being able to go. If that's the case, I'm not happy about it but I like the flexibility of it.

Was prepared to give him time to learn, but he clearly doesn't and has blown an absolute tap in of a position with what people say is the best team in the championship. He's not good enough, get him gone!

A fantastic tactical shooter, get yourself into the right team and communication is key to winning it. There's a good blend of people taking it seriously and others having fun with it. The map is vast but you always seem to have people focusing on ferrying people to the combat zones but you have to gradually build up your attacks on positions. Servers wise, they are busy but you can always end up getting into it with a little persistence.

This looks amazing, me and a friend have been playing the Ukraine/Russia server on Arma Reforger and it's immense... wholly recommend giving it a go.

It's looking real spectacular now.. but actually if you look at the turning point in all of this is when we decided abandon the prospect of selling our best players to reinvest back into the playing squad, but instead to buy expensive players, give existing players high wages and try to retain these players. The truth is the club abandoned what got us to heights and rolled the dice. They bet red and it landed on black and now we as fans will have to endure the results of their gambling. Quite simply heads must roll, and if Top doesn't take the action required then he will lose a lot of respect.

What kind of "deliberate strategy" is it to make a total balls-up of the finances and recruitment and blame it on everyone else? They've said repeatedly they wanted this club to be ran sustainably, does this look sustainable to you?

A good coach, maybe an excellent assistant manager.. but a first team manager this guy isn’t. Wholly agree with your point, I first thought he was amazing at setting us up to start a game but totally inept at being effective in changing the swing when needed. Now I think he noted down 1 formation from Pep’s tactics book and is tripling down on it! It’s clear as day that he hasn’t got the foggiest on how to change this, and I’ll get stick for saying it but I’m not having him.. his system got found out long ago and he’s done nothing to change, his stubbornness will cost us promotion and then we are really in the pits!

Just as a thought, if their charges were all in the EPL.. would that really mean the EFL kicks them down a few leagues too? Surprised they are dishing out other punishments whilst there's this looming issue on the horizon. What is even the point in competeing in football if the leagues are going to clip your wings. We have money, the owners have always maintained that but because of some nonsense PSR ruling we cannot maximise it. It's a total load of nonsense that isn't fit for purpose, the only thing it's effective at doing is keeping the CL spots a closed shop and if any team dares to try, they will only go down the same path as us. Said it before, I'll say it again... with this and VAR they are really making Football a hard sport to love.
