Personally I'm enjoying the type of football we're trying to play & hope it continues. Does anyone think, it's just about getting the points now, however we get them, even if we go more direct. I know when at home, most sides have a low block, meaning more patience is required. I often think our set up is perfect for our away trips.

The blatant poor use of the yellow card isn't helping. The amount of times that a player dives or goes to ground looking for a free kick or penalty is ridiculous. Most refs wave play on, surely knowing he's being tempted to give in. Just book the cheat. It isn't difficult.

I think our 9 takes some beating. Haaland could definitely match or beat Vardy though. Like you say, we got to witness both.

I thought our 0-9 record was in doubt when Newcastle were on the rampage at Sheff Utd. I have similar feelings now. Arsenal look awesomely good (West Ham gave up after No 2 though).

Very true. We play high risk/reward football. Even Man City occasionally get caught out trying it. We rarely, if ever get cut open due to opponents slick passing & movement. Personally I'm loving the way we're evolving.

I reckon it's getting too late to reduce points this season. Really is dragging on. More likely next season now isn't it ? However, can't say I've looked at it too closely.

Alan Mullery's volley against us won goal of the season in season '73/'74. Definitely worth a look.

I guess an outfield player goes in goal, or take off an outfield player, bring on a substitute 'keeper for 10 mins.........some games could go on for ages, meaning our home games will be virtually empty for half an hour when thousands leave on 80mins

Surely, if refs used the yellow card correctly, consistently there's no need to change anything. If the referee is surrounded by 4 players, book 'em all. Simple.

I played from my school years right up until my mid 50s. My favourite sport. Excellent social side to it as well. Managed to get picked for the county over 50s. I thought it would be just a laugh. How wrong was l !? Still a few ex-county players involved…….. Mark Alleyne, Neil Burns, Matthew Maynard. l stopped about 3 seasons ago. Great times.

Some would rather see us play like Stoke under Pulis or Cambridge under John Beck.

Maybe some of our fans can't see that football has generally evolved into the style that we are trying to play. Many teams try to play out from the back & have a possession is king philosophy. Ours is a work in progress obviously. If we took the numerous chances we create, the issue some have would go away. Maybe !

Maybe Saudi is an option, but can only see a handful going there. l wonder whether the Premier League bubble is at bursting point. This transfer window must be one of quietest on record. Time will tell.

I highly doubt KDH leaves in this window. The only way it happens is if we are in a financial mess & we want to sell, which l doubt. Yes, he is ambitious & wants Premier league & probably European football. Surely, he stays with us until the summer & weighs up his options.......if we get promoted he will stay beyond the summer in my opinion.

Much better move for him, 'Boro. Sheff Utd was never a good fit. I thought he'd end up at somewhere like Huddersfield, Rotherham etc.
