  1. it would be fair to be skeptical but he was never suited to moyes and lopetegu has brought in his own men. He’s best in a team who want to play possession based football, something we supposedly are. My mates a west ham fan and he basically feels that he had a bit of a rough ride as they had to defend wave after wave of attacks in games because moyes just wanted to counter attack. All their defenders looked worse than they were because of the style and set up and felt he played a big part when they won the cup. Ignoring everything though… he has an actual left foot
  2. Faes out, Aguerd in. Loan with an obligation… if we can match the financials we’d be upgrading and not harming, possibly improving our psr situation ‘Aguerd is a left-footed centre-back who has gained most of his experience playing in a back four in France for Rennes and Dijon. Before that, however, he had played on the left of a back three with FUS Rabat in his native Morocco. He is strong in the air, where he times his jumps well and is able to hang to win aerial battles. He is aggressive when attacking the ball, and will readily leave his slot in defence to move out and challenge further forward, attacking the ball in central midfield or in wider areas ‘ he could be perfect…
  3. what actually happened to him? He looked very good for brentford in the championship then at some stage forgot how to play football… it’s a curious case
  4. I don’t disagree but it’s his career at the end of the day!
  5. Does seem like this will be the one we target. Tanner seems to think our budget is gone and it’s got to be a loan with an obligation.
  6. it was his choice. He had quite a few offers on the table and said that he chose this project. Maybe he wanted guaranteed minutes and not a risk of spending the season coming off the bench
  7. Maxine Lacroix going to palace for not much more than we paid for this guy… our business is proper nasty on paper
  8. the lesson ahmed musa taught us all
  9. get a profit sell on added in and that would be fine.
  10. he looks like he’d squeeze the bunny a little too hard
  11. only concern i have, is that even if he absolutely smashes it, the club would still require a championship loan before considering him ready … if we stay up of course
  12. He’s the worst type of footballer
  13. Play like we did against fulham or even spurs and this is going to be a painful one
  14. I liked the look of him tonight. Strangely reminded me of early KDH
  15. think he scores if mavi releases him instead of mcateer on that break
  16. anyone not giving ward a 10 has an agenda
  17. how many goals from ayew would we consider good value for what we’ve paid? if he gets 7/8 i’d say fair play
  18. what’s that website that sounds like a fatawu tribute but has rivers?
  19. any online rivers for the non uk folks?
  20. it’s pub level. Picking the players he thinks are best with no plan how to use them. How does that midfield 3 make any sense unless you’re up against real madrid. who said he was dynamic and played multiple formations? because he’s getting this crap out against tranmere or spurs… doesn’t matter who we play
  21. That sides not good enough for the championship. Seriously worrying
  22. he’s been allowed to play on the right
  23. there’s only so much you can kick a can down the road… maybe we are realising the problem we have next season with the outgoing commitments? If that was a very achievable 5m … appearances for example, then maybe 5m in the books in the championship would not be ideal if we could just pay 3m to guarantee it now
  24. and they only wanted 10% sell on…. Rudkinomics
